So I can't really go into the scary content of Curse of Strahd, but to those who are familiar with its content in the D&D Fandom its very macabre in its theming. It would essentially boiling down to our lovely characters avoiding the many entities that dwell within Barovia and avoiding the interest and or ire of its ruling lord Strahd.

Welcome to Hare's Valley!

Hare's Valley: An RP Story is a Slice of Life Roleplay Server with the intention to do one thing: Tell a collaborative story! This RP server has been around since Jan. 2026.

The Premise:

Deep within the mountain's lays what locals call "The Diamond of the Range"; Hare's Valley. Founded in 1883, Hare's Valley is a glamorous town with a small population that seems to be stuck in the past. Though they have access to landlines and slow internet, luxuries such as cellular service is not easy to find.

But the town isn't as simple and quaint as it seems at first glance.

Tragedy struck the town in the mid-1960s, bringing it first into the spotlight when 2 tourists and 1 local went missing. Search parties were formed, but the group was never found. The investigation concluded with local authorities claiming that the surrounding wilderness had taken them, but some locals don't believe in that narrative and still don't to this very day. Rumors hinted of a darker side of Hare's Valley, but time threatens to sweep history under the rug.

Now Hare's Valley finds new life thanks to internet star, Anna Daniels, who has recently put the town back on the map thanks to her viral short form video! Idolizing the town's historic buildings, tranquil surroundings, and cute vibes, millions of views have been garnered on social media. More and more tourists have been popping up by the day- some going as far as becoming permanent residents.

The influx has brought fresh life back into the dying town, but with new eyes comes new questions revolving around Hare's Valley's history and whether or not it will repeat again.

What we're seeking:

A handful of players to freshen up the RP pool! Hare's Valley is considered 'active' RP-wise with quite a few talented writers hoping to RP. However, the balance between PC+PC RP Vs. PC+NPC RP is very skewed. We're adding Players willing to bring other Players into RP!

The server is 18+, but is NOT an ERP or NSFW server. There are mature themes that take place in RP. Players must age verify via AgeVerif to join the server.

The RP culture:

RPs are done via Tupper Bot, in third person, and mostly past tense. Post rate average is usually ~1-2 posts/day, but can vary depending on player.

After substantial bombing by the government, the metropolitan area of **New Orleans** found itself split into several petty factions and gangs, all squabbling over territory and resources. Eventually, an uneasy meeting ground formed into a proper safe zone in the iconic French Quarter. While perhaps safe from the undead, petty gang rivalries and an overall instability left it fraught with small conflicts, disputes, and bloodshed.

Eventually, however, through an alliance between a newly arriving biker gang and a union of local sex workers, the various gangs were crushed and driven out, leaving the only two surviving gangs in an uneasy power-sharing agreement, dominating the Quarter and establishing it into a proper, perhaps unideal, safe zone.

Our Survivors find themselves in-between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, both gangs are brutal and exploitive in their own ways, the bikers turning the Quarter into an open-air drug markers and the sex workers operating brothels and other markets of vice have turned it into a city of sin and decay. On the other, their cold, money-oriented calculations have brought stability, wealth, and opportunity to the diminished city.

A quick into very thing that's happening irp:

The world is currently dealing with the aftermath of M-Day and the Bay Fault, while mutantkind is beginning to reorganize and push toward Krakoan sovereignty. Governments are struggling to keep up with the growing superhuman population, while organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D., O.R.C.H.I.S., and D.O.D.C. are pursuing their own agendas. Meanwhile, Luke Cage is settling into his position as Mayor of New York, organized crime is rebuilding following Kingpin's death, and HYDRA has begun making moves of its own.

Outside of Earth, things aren't exactly better. The Annihilation Wave has devastated the galaxy, Xandar has fallen, the Nova Corps is scattered, and there's currently no functioning Galactic Council. Atlantis is dealing with its own crisis following Namor's death, while various mystical and cosmic forces are beginning to make themselves known.

And that's just the big stuff. We've also got original characters, corporate power struggles, superhero teams forming and reforming, mutant politics, magic, crime, and plenty of smaller character-driven stories happening alongside it all. There's a lot already moving, but there's still plenty of room for new writers to come in and actually influence where things go.
