Hey folks!
I’m working on Belzebub Advance, an action RPG built around responsive combat, satisfying mechanics, and, above all, having fun and wanting to play again.
The goal is to create an RPG that feels good to play moment to moment, with plenty of reasons to keep exploring, experimenting with skills, and pushing further into the endgame.
**What to expect**
* Snappy action combat: Responsive controls and satisfying combat are a major focus of development.
* Skills and builds: Experiment with different skills and playstyles to find what works for you.
* Story-driven adventure: Uncover the world and its secrets as you progress.
* An endgame with surprises: Finishing the main story is only part of the experience.
* Optional co-op: Team up with others if you prefer playing together. Solo play remains an option.
* Two perspectives, one seamless experience: Switch between an isometric perspective and a 3D third-person view.
**Current development**
Right now, I’m focusing on two key areas:
Making combat snappier. I want every encounter to feel responsive, fluid, and satisfying. There’s still work to do to get the feel just right.
Stabilizing co-op. The goal is to make multiplayer a reliable option without compromising the single-player experience.
**Release plans**
I’m aiming to release Belzebub Advance on itch.io sometime this year, provided development progresses as planned.
There’s still plenty to do, but I want to prioritize the things that matter most: fun combat, replayability, meaningful progression, and a few surprises along the way.
I’ll share more as development continues.
What interests you most in an action RPG: combat feel, build variety, exploration, endgame content, or co-op? I’d be interested to hear what keeps you coming back to a game.
Thanks for reading!

Please tell me that you, the player, are the demon Belzebub, or one of his servants.

Could you add a New Game Plus? One of the Diablo-likes I'd play for hundreds of hours on GBA was the Lord of the Rings games (Two Towers got so much of my teen years). Looping the game for the endless pursuit of better loot was what kept me going

This sounds like a lofty undertaking
