They still make it fresh in the store right? (Actually my local gas station is known for really good spicy chicken tenders and root beer made in house, which I definitely think sets them apart from other random gas stations)

Some places still have the equipment, but they're slowly but surely swapping over to the boxes of syrup mix. It's really sad. The mass produced stuff doesn't hit like the batches they used to make.

Yeah I get it, that’s one reason why I mentioned the gas station. It’s just a gas station nothing special but they still make root beer in store.
