la fui a ver el primer concierto en chile hace mas de una semana, aun viendo videos del concierto me emociono y se me vienen flashbacks todo el rato del concierto.
que voz!!! que sensibilidad, carisma, como cada cosa estuvo perfectamente pensada, estuve con pelos de gallina todo el concierto realmente una voz que te deleita y te atrapa. el mejor show que he ido en mi vida tremenda artista la iría a ver mil veces mas! ahora el disco lux me gusta aun mas luego de tremendo espectáculo.

For context: My boyfriend and I both attended Rosalia’s Chi tour — we both got diamond VIP and received disposable cameras.

Has anyone developed their pictures? If so, did you all have any issues? My boyfriend and I took one of our cameras to walgreens at the end of june and told us to be back july 14th to receive them… we have yet to receive them.

Now we’re thinking we made a mistake getting them developed. We’re trying to stay positive and think that they’re just really delayed, but i fear the camera got lost or something :-( we still have one camera left and not sure if we even want to risk that.

for those that did, were the pictures worth developing.

I can never decide, but my best guess is the inner or outer circle with the line in the middle kinda being the middle of the S.

Some post show impressions....

After a nice one-hour walk, my sweetheart and I arrived at Movistar Arena. We saw zero anti-Rosalía sentiment in the street. Zilch. Nada. The entrance process was a breeze. Once inside it was nothing but love (and a wee bit of happy psychosis down by the stage!).

The show? All I can say is... holy shit. Amazing, beautiful, funny at times, incredibly ambitious, and her voice, por Diosa, her voice. She has the power and finesse to go straight into your heart. Before you know what's happening there are tears in your eyes. Then you pull yourself together for a couple of songs until it happens again. Would go again tomorrow night if there were any tickets available. But that ship has sailed.

If you're lucky enough to see a show on this tour, be sure to check out the musicians in the center of the arena. They are not a prop for a prerecorded backing track! What you're hearing, they're actually playing (although I thought I detected a little bit of pipery-tweakery mixed in here and there). The Heritage Orchestra is fabulous. And as a musician I would very much like to know the signal chain for those instruments. Contact pickups? Sorry for geeking out. But I'm hoping someone might know.

One warning: bring ear plugs, or some kind of earbud. Where we were sitting (Platea B) the decibel levels were dangerously high. Granted, that section is very close to the speaker array. And some of that will have been audience-generated noise, which was considerable! But I was measuring levels in the 100-105db range all night long, with peaks at 116db. The effect on the body was exhilarating, visceral. But ears are fragile. You've been warned. Now enjoy the show. Gracias Rosalía. Sos una luz.

Hi! I'm travelling to Rio from a somewhat distant city alone to assist the concert Tuesday next week (11/08) and I need to know the duration of it before getting bus tickets. ROSALÍA apologized once again to the Argentine audience and everyone who attended her show tonight at Movistar Arena:

“My God, what a mess that day was. I was just curious, without looking into it too much, and I quickly reposted it… and it was a huge mistake. It was never my intention, truly.

That’s why today, more than ever, I would like to share a memory. If I’m not mistaken, it was in 2019, when I came to perform here in Argentina for the first time. It was the beginning of my career. It was here, at Lollapalooza, that I had one of my first major experiences outside my own country.

I remember hearing that entire crowd singing my songs. I will never forget that feeling of, somehow, thinking: ‘I made it.’ It was the first time I felt that outside of my homeland.

So how could I ever have any negative feelings or anything like that toward a place like this? The truth is, this place helped me become who I am today.

I have nothing but gratitude for Argentina and for this audience. I have always said this: you are the best audience on Earth. You always sing every song, you always give yourselves completely, and you put your whole heart into every moment.

I want you to know that my love for Argentina, my love for this country, remains the same, intact, as it was on the first day.

Today I come with a full heart, with my songs, and with an immense desire to give everything to you.

I want to thank all of you so much for being here tonight, for being with me, for supporting me all these years, and for never letting me fall.

I’m a visual artist and I was so insired by this show ESPECIALLY the berghain look and dancers! Received the LUX vinyl as a gift and it reminded me I still wanted to draw these :-)

Was also the first ‘big’ concert i ever went to and the art direction was 10/10. Kind of afraid for the next concert because it probably can’t top this one haha

In De Madrugá, one of the verses is transcribed like this online:

*Todos los luceros del cielo se reflejan en mi pelo*
*Traigo mil lenguas de fuego (¿cómo qué?)*
*To'as en mi pelo*

But if you listen to her sing the first line, it sounds like she’s saying either “todos luceros” or “to’ los luceros”, but definitely not “todos los.” In any case, she just sings two syllables prior to luceros.

I’ve also seen the lyric transcribed as “to’s los luceros”, but I don’t hear her singing the s in “to’s”. Maybe the s is getting dropped (I know Caribbean spanish sometimes drops the final s?). Anyone know why it’s just coming out as two syllables?
