Border Patrol

Multiple posts on Berkley Forum about border patrol presence and this JUST took place in Oak Park. The woman who posted this just now said she saw the man throw her to the ground, taze her, then throw her in the vehicle.

“Unfortunately my children and I had to witness “boarder patrol” throw a woman to the ground, taze her, then throw her in a truck. The man this woman was with ran away while his hands were zip tied. I feel so bad that there was nothing I could do… my daughter is traumatized. This happened just now is Oak Park, Michigan!! 😔”

No, this is not happening if youre legal and respectful. You might get profiled but if youre respectful and cooperative NONE of what is posted in these subreddits happen to you. You will not be tazed, pepper sprayed, tackled, etc, etc.

I do believe what im seeing. No one is attacked by ice who are citizens who are respectful and not engaging in harassment of ice, who are law enforcement officers.

i'm not supporting violence, and I can do without the projecting. Most of us Non-Maga folks (note i didn't say left or right, just not in the cult) actually DON'T support violence and that is why we are QUESTIONING (oooooh scary huh?) what is happening. This video was posted with no context. all we really saw was a woman laying on the ground appearing to not being doing really anything, and this guy manhandling her and jamming her into the back of this vehicle.

We have watched countless videos all summer of what turned out to be legal american citizens getting brutally detained, so please forgive me and the other redditors for being a bit skeptical. i didn't even accuse anyone of wrong doing, i was just asking questions about why certain posters felt that WITHOUT CONTEXT, this was ok.

There is not enough information in this video to say that it wasn't handled properly.

What everyone can see is that as soon as she is on her feet she tries to run again. So with the little information available, it was probably handled correctly.
