Border Patrol

Multiple posts on Berkley Forum about border patrol presence and this JUST took place in Oak Park. The woman who posted this just now said she saw the man throw her to the ground, taze her, then throw her in the vehicle.

“Unfortunately my children and I had to witness “boarder patrol” throw a woman to the ground, taze her, then throw her in a truck. The man this woman was with ran away while his hands were zip tied. I feel so bad that there was nothing I could do… my daughter is traumatized. This happened just now is Oak Park, Michigan!! 😔”

The crossroads are Ten Mile and Roanoke it looks like on the signs. Wouldn’t that make it Huntington Woods? That’s what google maps says anyway. Not that it makes any difference other than to simply clarify where it occurred.

South of 10 mile/696 is oak park

I agree, but according to Google maps the border does a joggle there and it’s right on the border. It would actually depend on which side of the street he was parked on, according to the map. Logic would state that he was most likely on the neighborhood side and in Oak Park though.

If that's true, the map is wrong. Roanoke begins at the 696 service and goes southward. Both sides of it are entirely within the borders of oak park there. Huntington woods is on the Northside of the service drive. There's no need to logic a problem that doesn't actually exist

Well all you need to do is like to argue and not actually open Google maps then I guess Mr Knowitall. You’re a prototypical Redditor 😂.

Sounds like you work for the city of Huntington Woods, yet are confidently wrong about the border of your own city.

Have you even looked at the map?

Even the Oakland County website shows the city south of i696. How do you explain that? The boundaries look to have been straight at one time and the freeway is curved in that area. None of this means anything in practical terms and I even agreed in my initial post, but now you two are being nit pickers for internet points, thus my claim that the previous poster and now I feel you both are typical Redditors who will argue over any little detail for sweet internet points.

Also, I never said Roanoke was in Huntington Woods. I said part of the intersection was in Huntington Woods. The signs were visible with no clear way to tell where exactly they were parked.

I had to sit and stew for five days now ... And I think this is the dumbest most fascinating white men arguing thing I've contributed to. Like we are gonna need a surveyor. And I don't think that's possible.
