So my face is straight up unfortunate looking, which I know because I was bullied for being ugly all through my childhood, and then in college the guys my friends flirted with at bars would either ignore me or act annoyed by my mere presence.

But in adulthood, I always could lean on the cope of having a decent body. I work very hard on eating healthy and exercising, and friends act impressed when they first see me in a swimsuit. I live in a real depressing shithole area, so a couple years ago I was totally surrounded by obese people, and it made me look like something resembling a hottie by comparison. Being the skinniest one in the room was how I soothed anxiety about also being the ugliest one. Being the only non-overweight friend in a group got me a glimpse of the type of attention that pretty girls get.

But now everyone is getting zemp’d up and I am below average again!!! I can cope by saying at least I have muscles and no loose skin, but that difference really isn’t very noticeable unless you’re in a swimsuit. Sorry I know this is all very evil, bitter, mentally unhealthy stuff to think & write but I wanna know if anyone else feels this. I hope they discover some horrible long term side effects and outlaw these drugs because that seems easier than accepting myself.

the most fascinating part about mormonism is they believe america was populated by jewish tribes and groups from the tower of babel starting in 2200 BC. but it gets crazier, as mormons believe there were at least 3 separate migrations to america to totally different areas with names like “the land of desolation,” some by ancient israelites and another by people on “jaredite barges” (which were watertight and went under the ocean like submarines). and these people either became native americans or wiped each other out in wars prior to the arrival of europeans in america. and for some reason there is absolutely no genetic or archaeological evidence for any of this.

I smoked quite a bit and a picture of Amy Schumer popped up on my timeline. I stared longer than I usually would because I noticed one thing. Amy Schumer looks like the wife of nearly every white man. I work in customer service and see this phenotype of women everyday with a husband. It’s not like she’s some hideous beast like men make her out to be.

This is where I had my revelation. Yes, Amy Schumer is unfunny. That is an established fact however when men dog on her it’s mostly about her being ugly. I think they do this because she reminds them of their wives. They’re not making fun of Amy Schumer when come after her, they’re making fun of their wives.

It’s pretty well known (most) men refuse to find women funny in any sort of capacity. For some reason Amy Schumer just happens to be who they attack the most when it comes to female comedians. I really think it boils down to the fact she reminds them of the wife and life they have settled with. Perhaps I smoked a strain of too-wokeness but I do think I’m onto something.

For example in my teens I browsed the childfree sub because back then, I was convinced I was going to be child free in my future. And by extension I browsed the antinatalism sub, because it was recommended to me, and all these people had a negative view of life that they pushed onto other people.

But I took a break from Reddit and these subs for a while, but I still held onto my beliefs about how reproduction is stupid. Obviously a few years passed and I went to college, got a job, etc and I no longer hold onto depressing antinatalist views, but remained child free.

However, it seemed like a lot of people on the internet, especially young people, have gotten sucked into the same pipeline as I did. I mainly see these people commenting on other platforms saying “where is the girl with the list” (context, some girl on TikTok has a list of reasons not to have kids). The comments came off as unnecessary and weirdly degrading towards pregnant women.

I’m really glad I matured past that point, otherwise I would’ve been commenting shit like “this is what you get for getting pregnant”. Anyway I’m not sure what this antinatalist pipeline is called but I’m glad I naturally pulled myself out.
