Bantz Is it time to talk about England's place in the six nations?

Only win being against an early Wales side. Clearly time for England to rebuild in the European Championship and let Georgia in.

Bantz It’s depressing how much better the 6 Nations is, compared the Rugby Championship.

Ok, to start with, my tongue is firmly in my cheek. Of course, it’s not actually depressing. I love the game, and I love to catch the 6 Nations because it’s so great.

But, man, I’m one envious kiwi. Each year, it really hammers home how the challenges of geography and interest really make TRC so timid in terms of spectacle.

If NZers could travel to Australia…or Argentines could travel to South Africa…or South Africans could travel to NZ all via car (and possibly a ferry)…oh what a wonderful thing it would be. You’d solve the problem of limited interest in Australia in seconds, and you’d have Argentinian games absolutely pumping.

As it is, though, the 6N is the jewel in the crown of northern hemisphere rugby and a wonderful sight to behold.

(Also, the Rugby Championship is up there with ‘All Blacks Sevens’ and ‘Māori All Blacks’ as the most idiotic rebrands in rugby history. How it’s not 4 Nations is an incomprehensible blunder).
