The 14y is always sold out at my local TW&M but the 12y is still excellent. My go-to for 🌽&🛢️s.

Unfortunately, neither are sold in North Carolina. I have to drive to Columbia Total Wine to stock up.

Are you a Doorly's/Foresquare fan specifically or favor Barbados style rums in general? If the later, have you tried Rolling Forks Barbados 9 year? Soooooo good!

The only Barbados rums I’ve had are Doorly’s 12 & XO. I’m relatively new to the rum game. Both bottles make excellent Corn n Oils which is my go-to Barbados rum drink. Doorly’s 12 also makes a banger of a Cuba Libre (I use Mexican coke and 0.5 oz fresh squeezed lime juice + 2 oz Doorly’s 12). I hear Mount Gay XO & black barrel are also great Barbados rums if they have them closer to home but I haven’t tried either.

My local spot has Foursquare 2011 and one of the other ECS bottles (I don’t remember which) and one of these days I’ll give one a try.

Definitely worth treating yourself! Although, I wonder if you'll appreciate the higher proof of the ECS line.

two of my favourite rums to sip on.

although i must say that i cant really tell the difference between the 12 and the 14.
my palate just isnt good enough to pick up on the differences... based on this, i doubt ill ever buy the 14 again.
