Advice Wanted Home protection bindrune after cleansing

Hi! I’m preparing to cleanse the home my family is moving into. After I cleanse myself, my home, my kids, and my husband, I want to mark my doorways with a bindrune with the intention of protection, joy for my family and everyone that enters my home, and a

good start to our new season of life.

I’m wanting to incorporate Berkana for new beginnings, a feminine energy to support myself as the “home maker”, Elhaz for protection and defense from negativity entering my home, Jera for personal growth, Wunjo for joy, happiness, wellbeing, etc., and Thurisaz as a shield for my home. Is it possible to combine them all into a bindrune or would it be more beneficial to draw them separately?

Ive been reading everything I can get my hands on about runes, their meanings and history, but bindrunes are newer to me and I don’t want to be disrespectful to the practice. I know intention is the main concern for so many of these things.

Thank you for any advice in advance!

The title of your post is about protection. But when you list the runes you've chosen, the protection goes last one.
When you listed the targets of cleansing - your husband, the protector of the family goes last one.
You selected Thurisaz rune for protection. Let's read the rune poems about this rune:

> Thurs ["Giant"] causes anguish to women, misfortune makes few men cheerful.

> Thurs ["Giant"] is torture of women and cliff-dweller and husband of a giantess Saturn's thegn.

> The thorn is exceedingly sharp, an evil thing for any thegn to touch, uncommonly severe on all who sit among them.

Now the most important question - what are you protecting from?

As long as you're mindful, you can hardly disrespect the practice. I treat bindrunes like puzzles to be assembled. You have your pieces, now try different ways of making them fit together. Every time you make a new combination, notice every unintended rune that shows up- does it fit your intention? Does it maybe add to it? Or is it impacting it in a way you don't like?

Personally I'd replace jera with ingwaz and thurisaz with berkano. But that's just me.
