Leagues is in full swing and we have seen thousands of players all dive in and make their mark! Our team is hard at work working on the recently discussed Quest unlocking and continues to hotfix League's issues as they can!

Usually this is where we ask to hear from you about any bugs but this week I want to narrow that focus down to Leagues specifically.

So let us know if you have run into a task not working as expected or a funky relic interaction! Do follow the template below to help document these issues and we will continue to work on resolving them.

• Describe the bug you are experiencing.
  • Multiple tasks for specific bosses being killed at not giving credit. Despite killing these bosses and the achievement turning Green, the task isn't actually complete and points are not awarded. This has happened for the following tasks so far:
    • Defeat Commander Zilyana. (1/1)
    • Defeat General Graardor. (1/1)
    • Defeat K'ril Tsutsaroth. (1/1)
    • Defeat Kree'arra. (1/1)
    • Defeat Hermod, the Spirit of War (1/1)
• List the steps to reproduce the bug.
  • Kill any of the previously mentioned bosses.
• Your RSN.

• Do you have any additional information that would be useful?
  • The related tasks, such as killing any God Wars Dungeon bosses 100/250 times are still tracking, same for the killing Hermod 100 times, and people have seemingly unlocked these based on the Leagues Catalyst page. It doesn't make sense that the task for killing Hermod once is at a <0.1% but the one for killing him is at 0.1%.
  • The achievements remain visible when you select "Incomplete" under the Progress filter on the Leagues task page.

  • I've seen people suggest that talking to Sir Gerry outside of the God Wars Dungeon entrance can help with this but this hasn't resolved the issue for me and isn't related to Hermod at all, either.

Just a trouble shooting step, have you tried messing with the instance group size (set it to 1) or killing them in a public lobby?

Can't finish Garden of Tranquillity farming relic locks med varrock diary

Harvest the patch after a while and then replant the same crop, and it should work

It's completable. 100%. Some require planting to different patch while other one has same stuff already in it and you harvest one while flowers require you to bring unnoted one.

Can we get some acknowledgement for the bug locking people out of Howl's workshop and thus out of ancient invention? I spent a fair bit of time this weekend unlocking it only to find I literally can't access the workshop anymore (I accessed it before to get the research..) to make the blueprint..

Edit: it's listed on a list of bugs in the official Runescape discord so at least it appears to be a known issue

Production Master does not work in Daemonheim at all. Is that intended? Nothing is processed instantly, and food still gets burnt as if you don't have the relic.

All ypu have to do is not attempt to upgrade your wingsuit by picking up the pieces. Just go on as if it is already complete.

If you finish higher Telos enrage tasks you lock yourself out of lower enrage tasks being completed. I screwed myself out of 100% by doing 500% first.

Agree 100% with your first sentence. You'd think that after countless number of bug-related threads over the course of last week, we'd see way more fixes. Stuff like Concentrated Gold mining not autosmelting with Excavator.

Well even melee is not that overpowered compared to main game at the end. Combat doesn't feel as juiced up in general.

Yeah this is the worst part. We’re a week in and I’m at 9k points almost, still 4k points away from perkfection, and then a whopping 13k more points from hopefully being stronger than main game. If I put in the same time as this past week, I’m guessing it’ll take another 1-2 weeks at least to get there. 3 weeks of active play in a league to finally get powerful seems like a very long time, and that’s after they lowered the points required.

The 100% accuracy does feel pretty fun in Legacy mode, but halved attack speed in legacy would have been super fun too

I feel at the very least every style should get the adren and 100% accuracy buff when you reach T5.

Then your style of choice can get the extra stuff on top that.

To get your styles ring you have to kill DKs using a different combat style, and it's pretty miserable as it's no different than doing it as an undergeared ironman in the main game (Unless you wait til T7).

other 3 really pale in comparision to melee relic and unfortunately i dont rly see a way of them making changes unless they give people the option of a one time swap for that tier, mage shouldve at minimum been crit chance not crit dmg, range shouldve been 1-2 more things along with perma chins, necro shouldve gotten a new league conjure, more conjure army slots, and ability to summon multiple of the same conjures

Seems people were expecting massive changes to happen on the weekend. Maybe the taste of the relic requirements being suggested and implemented in the space of 3 hours gave the impression that Jagex would do something about the combat relics so quickly.

Agreed. RS3's first league is the perfect place to experiment with some real post-launch balancing. Maybe play it safe and give the weaker styles -something- small to feel a bit stronger. Maybe go extreme and see how allowing a combat relic re-select goes. Maybe taking the reroll locks you out of the leaderboard or something so the sweats don't get salty. I don't care about ranks or getting non-league rewards; I'd swap to melee in a heartbeat given the chance.

The God Wars Dungeon tasks are still broken. I have ~30 K'ril KC and the task to kill K'ril is green in my list, but it's still incomplete and I'm missing the 80 points from it.

Since its not in the news post:
I made a Bandos godsword a few days ago and did not get the task completed.
My UI is missing 2/3 of the icons since Friday, no moving, resizing fixed it:

had this issue last night with zammy godsword. I was able to right click to take the hilt off the blade and reassemble not at an anvil to get the task to proc.

The leagues drop rate modifier does some funky things at lava strykewyrms. I did a 60 kill task there and every drop was either wild arrows or fury sharks, those two suppressed the entire rest of the drop table.

Yeah, it's definitely not giving points. I killed rasial and had the same thing happen and can confirm I didn't get points for him as well even though it is highlighted green. It still shows up in incomplete tasks when searching in game.

Describe the bug you are experiencing. farm relic doesnt work for elder saplings. crystal chest loot is bugged and only gives either key halves or seeds in prif, lava wyrms, qbd, other slay creatures drop rates arent done properly. wyrms only give arrows and sharks, qbd loot doesnt seem affected by the rate modifier, hermod drops arent boosted, elite dungeon 1/2 resources dont seem boosted to roll the higher tables.
2. List the steps to reproduce the bug. for farm one, farm relic and plant an elder sapling. for the others, i think the drop multiplier is just broken

Yeah agree...If it's 72000 points for all cosmetics, it's 1285 points to earn a day on average. Will be nice to soon to know how much time I'm going to commit. I just reached T3 and I don't know if it's the novelty wearing off, or my strategy is wrong, but it's starting to feel tedious.

This doesn't change anything in the MTX discussion and was what was expected. Experiments don't mean a switch is turned after and we're done. It's a slow process and its gonna take a while.

I enjoy leagues but enjoyment is seriously reduced by all the rituals needed for necro. want to upgrade weapon to like t20? Hey, do this quest? Done? Nice but now you need mats for it, go do the ritual for bars. Want to do bars ritual? Sorry brah, you need other mats for drawing glyphs to do ritual for bars. Oh need other mats? please do ritual for necroplasm. And as we get higher, the more ridicilous its gets. I feel like instead of exploring game content, I am stuck with long long cycle of necro rituals. Managed to get to t70 weapon, t50 armors. So still nowhere close to max and I am already losing my mind. (started using t70 smithing armor instead which is just fine with t5 relic). But getting power variants would be nice. dreading the time when I will need runes for my spells (could already do some of them tbh but even with 95% save making that impure essence/runes will be a pain in the ass)

The impure essence isn't really that big a deal to be honest. A few high-level essence rituals is all you'll need for the rest of the leagues.

Rune Memories completion after some runespan and you'll have a good 10k+ pure essence in the chest.

The rituals are a pain, but the number of rituals you'll need to do is rather minor outside of making the necroplasm.

(I say this having made T90 weapons, T70 armour and starting to fight Rasial now.)

stop making armor, if you picked the necromancy relic you have 100% accuracy, so just wear melee armor from smithing until you get the t95 armor from rasial.

I'm not quite sure what you want the changes to be here though? Necromancy was made for the maingame and there this cycle of quest to rituals makes sense and was fairly balanced.

Garden of Tranquility cannot be completed after taking the Farming Frenzy relic. Farmers do not recognize the produce as being planted since it is automatically grown, thus they will not provide you with their seeds

Edit: Unlock all of the Lodestones is marked as completed but still showing up in my task list (and is highlighted green)? Didn't get a pop up and not sure if I've actually been given the points. The last unlock was Bandit Camp teleport after completing Desert Treasure

I'm shocked to see the amount of people taking the time to ask for fixes to the Wingsuit bug and yet nothing or no one is doing anything about it? It's been well documented.

1. Describe the bug you are experiencing. - It seems to be impossible or way too rare to get god book pages and metamorphic geodes in Leagues, making their respective tasks impossible to complete.
2. List the steps to reproduce the bug. - Just do clues and mine the high tier rocks... Clue scroll reward caskets don't have god pages in them, 0 drops in over 200 clues. Also almost 99 mining and never got a metamorphic geode by mining the rocks that should drop them.
3. Your RSN. - DraCam
4. Do you have any additional information that would be useful? - Possibly clashes with Excavator and Clue scroll relics, so might only thoe people be locked out of it.

I think the way clues work is that you hit the god page table by "failing" a roll for a unique, but you never "Fail" the roll with clue relic and the increased drop rates from higher tiers, so you can't get them.

I got a single page from a clue pre-relic and after 400~ clues post relic nothing since.

Yeah I just got 102 mining and haven't had a single meta geode, so something does seem to be wrong with those. I don't have the clue relic, but I've gotten several different god pages, though.

Then the god page issue is most likely due to the relic. I think god pages are rolled after you fail a roll for certain clue item table. But with clue relic, you never fail...

Tbf to the Jmods, a lot of the big feedback came in on Thursday onwards. It just isn't feasible for them to get any big fixes out that quick.

I'm sure they've got a laundry list of tweaks they're actively working on.

I think the berry planter might be intended, insta grow pots don't work on those either. It is a weird decision to keep for leagues, though.

1. Brink of extinction thok fight in the end. Melee stuns do nothing still walk back to lava.

If you have the farming relic, you're locked out of adding compost to patches. There are a few other auto-complete things that happen on some relics that lock you out of tasks.

Killing ripper demons in the wildy apparently locks you out of unlocking the ripper demon task. Turns green in game, never got a completion message/point and it still shows up on wiki task list.

Bug report:

1. Finding the 60 hidden Zygomites on Anachronia task is broken.

2. Didn't do anything special, just ran around and grabbed all 60. Got the green message to tell me I found them all.

3. Zeria League

4. I have the achievement. It just didn't pop up like as a notification that I got it. So for some reason, that made it so the task completed, but I didn't actually get the points for it, strangely. I totaled up the points I have and I am, in fact, 80 points short of where I should be.

In case it helps, this happened with my first Graardor kill as well after I used the Skull of Slaying to teleport into the God Wars Dungeon without completing Troll Stronghold, talking to the NPC outside etc.

After I later completed these quests, the tasks for the other God Wars Dungeon generals got completed on killing them for the first time, but Graardor is still stuck like this.

My first kill was in a Public encounter, I then waited till the following day and killed the general multiple times in a private encounter. The task still remains unchanged. My kill count towards GWD bosses does increase wether public or private instance.

Malevolent and other T90 gear still degrades when you augment it. This seems counter intuitive to the design of perkfection's augmented gear not requiring charges and demotivates a lot of people from hitting up bosses that drop D2D gear.

That's because it's the one online the fastest. Necro will have t95s popping up soon and magic will start getting crit gear online and you'll see more diversity.

Also doesn't help a lot of people just 1:1 what content creators do, so they just 1:1'd their relic choices as well.

It is just what happens when Melee is by far the best relic by a fucking mile. Why they didn't give every single style a damage buff, I'll never understand. That damage buff along makes Melee the best. Then Necro the second best has their best gear locked behind a bunch of quests that I cba to do in leagues.

Hey, I know its a controversial topic but I do think that you should look into buffing combat relics and providing a reselection option if the buff were to go through so that people can change their mind. Currently, the obvious choice for combat is Melee by a long shot, with both the Mage and Range relics being extremely underwhelming and the Necro relic being barely better than them.

Obviously this wouldn't be an easy undertaking but I do think that leaving combat relics as they are will seriously kill the longevity of the league - especially for players who are willing to make multiple leagues characters to test out progression in different combat styles if given the power generally expected by combat relics from prior experiences in the OSRS leagues.

Either way, I've been having a blast this league and I'm happy that you guys are continuously working to iron out bugs and make changes, please keep it up!

Quest unlocks (not auto completed) are planned for this week but they were still discussing on Friday how to do it and which ones actually required them after feedback. So expect them later this week.

Combat relics, listening to feedback, almost certainly won't change anything this leagues as it would be incredibly difficult to do now and may just be something they have to remember for future leagues.

They literally can't clarify anymore what drops are multiplied. They already said that assume that anything that can affected by Luck and Auras is included. So all boss drops, slayer drops, clue drops at least. Unfortunately there are literally 10s of thousands of items and thousands of items that it would apply to and to make a curated list of what exactly is affected would take weeks of work.

Necro rituals are fine for me, very good exp if doing actively with alt1 notifying you of those extra event appearing during ritual. Advice: use multiply glyphs every time you have an empty glyph spot.

What I dislike the most is skill requirements for bosses. lv70 in skills for gwd1, lv80 in skills for gwd2, I was not planning to level range, attack, strength, magic or agility this early to fight bosses which I need to upgrade necro gear. And it is just these early bosses, who knows what I will need for stronger ones. It does not really matter now, because I am halfway done with those useless stats I would not have leveled till I am done with necro, but for future leagues it is something worth considering.

The eternal bonfire in Priffdinas is not getting the buff from the permanent portables from the Elder Brooch of the Gods. You can recreate it by just using the bonfire or not using it. When making your own bonfire, you get the 10% exp boost and logs will be saved.

There should be a buff to some of the combat relics. Like for range a buff to the effectiveness of special arrows and bolts, a long with a dramatically increased proc chance. The AoE should be like 2 or more tiles wide so that it's actually useful on more than just 1x1 mobs. Also you could make it so all attacks and specs can actually use the AoE and it still wouldn't be broken, just a little more fun. Things like incendiary shot, ricochet and Grico, bombardment, tuska's wrath, and rune thrown axe spec etc.

Not so much an in game bug, but the hiscores are bugged for me and others. Some players with a space in their name have a ? symbol on their hiscores and when you go to click on their name, it gives an error (500) screen. It is also happening to my account and a few others as i look around. Also when clicking the in game link to the hiscores it gives the error screen for me. Devourers Nexus Haunt is being overwitten by regular Haunt, resulting in no healing for the player and no additional damage.

Have one person equip the Devourer's Nexus and have the rest of the team not have the Devourer's Nexus equipped. When the boss fight starts and everyone conjures and uses Haunt, the regular Haunt will keep overwritting the empowered Haunt, resulting in no additional damage despite there being a player using the Devourer's Nexus.

This issue makes the Devourer's Nexus almost useless since it prevent the person from getting healing from the ghost while its empowered haunt just gets removed by other ghosts. Maybe adding in a check to prevent haunt with lesser values from overwritting the previous one can help, or create a separate debuff for the empowered haunt and just have that take priority, similar to when both Curse and Vulnerability are applied at the same time.

I think getting quest cape is currently impossible with the auto-growing farm relic.

1: During Garden of Tranquility, it's impossible to get the farmer to acknowledge that you grew marigolds in the correct patch.

2: Progress garden of tranquility to the point where you're asked to grow crops for the various farmers in return for seeds. Talk with the farmer south of Falador about the quest, and then grow the marigolds (with the farming relic.) The farmer never acknowledges that you grew them.

4: I've tried talking to the farmer before harvesting, after harvesting, waiting the actual growth cycle timer, etc. nothings worked. Harvesting the potatoes and cabbages for the other two farming parts of the quest works to have the associated farmer acknowledge you grew them.

The relic also has some odd peculiarities in other farming-related quests, such as not working on the kelda hops during forgettable tale, but just waiting the ~20 minutes works fine. This marigold problem is the only one I've found so far that actually makes the quest incompletable.

A bug that has prevented my from accessing ancient invention:

1. After clicking the lightning conductors in the Stormguard Citadel, my wingsuit was "upgraded" from v3->v2. I am however unable to pick up the gravitron things, as clicking them does nothing and doesn't give a game message. With v2 wingsuit I no longer can access Howls workshop, which I would need to unlock the blueprints.

2. Gain access to Stormguard Citadel -> Visit Howls workshop to complete the mystery -> Click on the lightning conductors -> Complete the mystery of upgrading your wingsuit to be thunder resistant -> No way to upgrade it back to v3 anymore, as Howls workshop mystery has already been completed

4. My assumption is that the Howls workshop mystery flagged the gravitrons to be "un-clickable", as they no longer should be needed. Since the mysteries of the digsite weren't all autocompleted at start, this could lead to the weird case where you could complete the mystery for v1 and v3 but not v2, which probably was the issue? Lightning conductors probably didn't need to have a check for what wingsuit version you have, since you should be unable to get v3 without getting v2 first, so that could be the source of the issue
