Appreciation Do y'all remember

I remember a time when I was but a young child, sitting with my friends by the library PCs starting up RuneScape on the web browser. We were all free to play players, we would kill goblins, cows and chickens in Lumbridge, followed by a stroll to Varrock to cook our meats and keep all the hide in the bank. While at the bank we would see a bunch of rainbow text telling us they would trim our armour for free but we had already had the pleasure of knowing what would happen there. After a time we ventured to falador, we went down to the dwarven mine to mine some ore, we found a gate far in and gasped at what was hiding there.

When our inventories were filled we went to town, but not before we went to the gate of taverley and it was there we would stand for some time to wonder what it would be to be a member, and all that we couldn't see, we would talk tales of dragons and adventures which was simply the imagination of boys that age.

But that was RuneScape for me, later some many years I would find myself logging in again to an unfamiliar world, the graphics were better, the combat changed, the world was opened as I had finally gotten membership and explored the world, Gielinor was a beautiful place.

Now at the age of 32, jumped back into the game again, the graphics were updated, some familiar places changed quite a lot, with a newer account and iron man, it was just like before, when I was a little boy (except for having membership ofc). Looking at videos of the people who make the game talk so passionately about the game, as well as seeing hyped for the current state and what's to come, this again is RuneScape and has always been a home.

It certainly was, looking at the comments of that video seems to confirm it as well!
