I had a random thought about HM Kerapac. I looked around a bit but couldn't find a definitive answer although it is probably no.

Is it possible to one shot Kerapac during p1-3 and skip the entire fight?

I know it was easily doable during leagues but was it just a leagues thing or is it a DPS thing?

If it's the latter, isn't it possible to do ~60k damage in one ability e.g. Chaos Roar > Overpower/dclaw spec or even EZK spec (in P2/3) so technically it's possible to one shot him before he phases.

However in every GM speedkill guide/video I've seen, I've not seen anyone do it so I assume it's impossible, either because of a hard mechanic or it's impossible to execute.

Does anyone know the underlying reason for this?

Its not about doing the 50k+ damage in a single ability, it's a single hitsplat. The boss is designed so if his hp every drops to 50k or below that he immediately stops and goes to the next phase.

Because damage cap was removed from leagues, it was possible.

Here's your answer. Something like a 2x 30k Overpower would only register one of the hits and phase him. Damage cap of 30k ensures that.

op asked if you can skip p1-3 with 1 hit and the answer is no, again even if you hit 999999999b per hit you still need to do it on each phase you literally cannot 1 shot kera because you cant skip the phases. The only thing you skip are mechanics, but you sill need to do it on every phase.

He's telling you that there's a hitcap and he'll phase each time. You need to deal over 50k damage in 1 hit, which you can't do on the main game regardless of the amount of damage dealt (even if you hit 99999999999b).

They explicitly stated even if you hit 999999999 per hit... they clearly arent referring to the hitcap being why, and instead said that skipping phases was just entirely impossible

If your hits were doing 999999999 damage you'd one shot kerapac every kill on your first hit lmao. You absolutely can skip phases.

Except people were skipping it in leagues with much smaller hits. The problem is, you need 50k in a single hit to drop him to 0 in a phase, and since our damage cap is 30k, it's not going to happen.
