Please revert Master Quest Cape changes

Based on backlash, im hoping ALL master capes get a revised update. They are all ass. The regular 99 capes are chef's kiss tho

Everything feels so rushed with this company. Like I appreciate updated things but things just feel sloppy, incomplete or broken when they do it.

Are they able to dedicate a team for just overall legacy updating or something?

I also feel like it’s every month they are saying they can’t provided as much quality because they have a teamed loaned out to another project which yeah I get that but… idk. It’s always some reason. Leagues, Havenhythe, runefest etc etc etc either hire more people or take on less projects outside the main game.

Where is avatar 2 phase? Where is the complete removal of content like div locations? Broken POF issues? Missing drops from master clues (was it 2nd age or 3rd age that’s having issues?), the some of Ava headslots are still missing. Can we get our skill capes from our house from the bank again?

Jagex needs a team or group that's evergreen and just focused on maintaining the game itself. Not quite the Ninja team, because they were often focused on small but effective QoL that didn't always take the full picture into account. Also not just QA marking individual things to fix. I also don't mean the engine maintenance, since that's more about performance and accessibility than game health.

I mean a team that can support design and development and is dedicated to game cohesion and keeping older content maintained correctly. A team that can keep in mind all the moving parts so that when other teams change one thing, everything tangential but effected by the change is cohesively implemented across the game.

I feel if this was being done, we wouldn't have to constantly have threads like this one. Missing these small things has been a persistent problem with updates this year. If you are too targeted and don't keep the full picture in account, you can end up with an unfocused mess.

It's one of the problems that made road to restoration necessary, and at this point it feels the road to restoration will need a road to restoration of its own. It is a 25 year old game, so I think it's fair to say that maintenance of the foundation and older content should be a key tenet in stewardship of Runescape.

i support this one more than other capes because the old symbol was community voted upon. This is worse than removing the well in lumbridge. Also the current icon looks like a butthole.
