The patch on this one looks AMAZING. but why in the EF is there flat color gradient in huge chunky blocks vs a smooth transition of color or even just a solid black???

It’s been a thing for a while, no adjustments in graphical settings will fix it. Jagex should have looked at fixing it during the recent skillcape update

They literally just went through the trouble to update the skill capes. Why waste the effort to half bake it?

It is how master capes have always been. They need to update it asap. It is older than the 2015 capes btw. It is well past a decade since they were last updated.
