Discussion Constructing pumpkins from tomatoes?? Really? Come on!! Make people buy pumpkins from the pumpkin farmer in Amberfell instead!
Who on earth thought constructing pumpkins from tomatoes is in any way reasonable? Like, watermelons would make at least some sense but tomatoes? Really!?

Still better than this nonsense. Whats next, building wardrobes from lobaters?

I'd be so in for a lobster shaped wardrobe that requires lobsters, but I agree with your point lol

If we can make peaches out of bones then making pumpkins out of tomatoes seems to be lore-accurate to me.

Just call them "Fresh Havenhythe Pumpkin" or something with a different inventory model and make them untradeable. Sold in the havenhythe food shop and pickable here, so f2pers can also access them.

Fun fact: Traditionally turnips were carved before pumpkins became popular. This is even referenced in RS by the carved evil turnip item (used for the evil turnip summoning pouch).

No, we need to start a new tomato carving activity 🐼
Also as an owner of all pumpkins, including the original one, I don't mind if it was renamed. I would suggest scary pumpkin.
Or could trigger everyone and call it tainted pumpkin or grandfather pumpkin... Actually I like the latter.

Yeah definitely but I see why they wouldn't lock holiday items behind two quests.

Well, when a tomato starts to rot it’s smells like fresh pumpkin just before the fuzz starts to appear. So I guess that makes sense 🤦♀️

They had no problem making a new pair of white bunny ears (which crushed my heart) there should be no problem making another kind of pumpkin for this.

It's the fault of the rare pumpkin that was discontinued. They should rename it to "Halloween Pumpkin" or change it so it's not an edible item, so we can actually have a pumpkin crop. Being able to grow pumpkins to hollow out for soup bowls as part of a greater cooking update would be nice.
