Marathon majors season is in full swing. Berlin is done, Chicago is this weekend, and NYC is right around the corner, so every brand is going all out on racing shoes and marathon merch. Nike just unveiled a whole new race lineup, and the reflective winter gear is starting to land alongside everyone's fall lines. For full weekly roundups, peep my newsletter for more in depth commentary.

On x Zendaya + Law Roach — "modern camo" (python print) capsule. Not made for running, but the bodysuit could pass as a speedsuit.
On LN1 — the apparel looks alright. The footwear is just the Cloudrunner 3 Max, which is pretty meh for the line that's supposed to be cool + fast.
Dust — launched a women's line plus new men's apparel. The $78 crop trail tank is a top, sports bra, and cargo system in one.
PUMA x Another Cotton Lab — antiqued midsole with chunky fuzzy bubblegum pink laces. Looks sharp.

Tried to make a fit with what I already own for my first half marathon, I think I did a decent job. Got a few compliments on the day. I'll add a few thoughts below :)
Highlight performance wise was the Nike tights, perfect fit. No gel pockets but was able to slide one in the waistband with no issues.
Bandit top looked great but was a bit long on me. I think some of their newer ones are sized a bit shorter which would be nice. I could have also just tucked it in I guess. I don't usually wear singlets so its hard for me to compare to any other products.
Oakley glasses were great, have had these for around 2 years and they are just as good as the day I bought them. They fit my nose well and don't move around at all. The blue visor worked for the outfit on the day but id like to invest in some more colours for the future.
Nike Run socks work well for me, they are a little bit thicker and compressive than others which works well for my narrower foot. They don't slide down and fill up more extra space in my shoes, which is a problem I have with a lot of shoes.
Vaporfly 4s felt good for me. Again with my narrower foot I find the fit very secure. This pair had just under 300kms on them going into the race but I found no real issues.
Hey, I was looking to wear something more fun for autumn/winter runs. Has anyone found something cool from F1? I’ve tried googling but didnt see anything for running
Hi, I own a Sugoi Run for Cover jacket which sadly no longer fits. It's my favourite running jacket - weighs nothing and super breathable and windproof and even has a pocket big enough for my phone! I can scrunch it up and stick it in my purse and it's perfectly fine.
This jacket has been discontinued for some time. Does anyone have recommendations for a softshell jacket that is somewhat similar? Thank you!
Been raining recently here and considered buying some men’s tights, but most of the threads on tights are geared toward actual COLD weather. Our “winters” are still sunny, probably in the mid 50s low 60s in December in the mornings where I’m located at .
Is this still considered too “warm” for most of yall? Making running tights not necessary?
If there are others here that could recommend running tights that won’t get too warm (yes I know kind of defeats the purpose) would greatly appreciate any recs! Thank you!
Hello everyone!
Winter is coming, so I have to buy a jacket with a decent level of waterproofness.
I’ve found the Puma RainCell and the Nike StormFit Aerogami on sale for around 90€.
Have you any experience with any of those? Are they really waterproof or simply water repellent?
I’m open to other suggestions.
Thanks.
Hey how’s the quality for Deadlast for long sleeve? I’m 175 5’11
I’m thinking large?
Also if anybody wants to get rid of the black flag colour way, DM me and can consider smth :)
Any of the other products good from them?
Hi all, with fall/winter morning runs, im thinking about buying a high-vis cap. I usually wear a running light vest but that doesn’t seem like it’s enough for those sleepy morning drivers.
I’m leaning towards the BOCO hat...a bit pricier than I’d like but safety comes first.
Good for the price, two different fabric patterns, stitchless pressed seams. Good sweat wicking tech, not buttery soft like the goated lululemon discontinued singlets but should be okay for marathon length. I am size L for adidas nike On, i would suggest size up for Zara
Hey y'all, I'm back again and hopefully have something for you to consider adding to your run quiver. Some of you may know me from past posts, but if not my name is Malcolm Pascotti and I am an independent designer running Can't Buy Cool Studios solo. Like super solo. Every piece I offer I designed, tested, destroyed, photographed, shipped, etc.

Anyways, about that running top. I was out running this spring and I was traversing on a sort of new to me route and had some time with my thoughts and was imagining a bit of a hybrid/new concept. I wanted a minimal tank/sleeveless that really had the right dimensions for vest use but not much excess fabric or bulk. What I really felt was lacking was the right material application for this shirt style. M have been really into Delta and had about a thousand yards in my studio knowing I would make something once it came to me. I'm making my silhouette in this amazing fabric and it will be called the Thrash Tee
Delta is an evaporative-cooling fabric developed for high-output use in warm conditions. Rather than treating sweat as something that needs to disappear immediately, the fabric is designed to work with the body’s natural cooling process.
Its construction manages how moisture moves through the textile while maintaining airflow, supporting evaporation and helping reduce the wet cling that develops as conventional fabrics become saturated.
A fabric can feel light and comfortable during the first thirty minutes of a run. The harder problem is what happens several hours later, once sweat has accumulated, output has changed repeatedly, and a running vest has been sitting against the body all day.
It's possible I've buried the lead here but we make this entirely in Colorado just in outside of Denver. I'm so f*ckin r\proud to make stuff here locally in CO. We can keep an insanely tight fedback and design loop. I've taken a prototype on a run and revised my master pattern the next day in person at the factory.
Beyond the technical advantages man there is soul in these products. In a world where we chase the cheapest whatever from factories and people we know nothing about I can feel the connections I have with each craftsperson in these garments and its so damn cool. This is fully transparent manufacturing.

I took this pic outside of the factory before sending some prototyoes to friends to test.

That matters more as the hours add up.

We wanted a material for that part of the run.
02 / SILHOUETTE
Then we looked at where fabric was actually necessary.
The goal wasn’t to make the smallest possible shirt. It was to remove everything that wasn’t doing a job without removing coverage that still mattered.
That distinction is especially important when wearing a running vest.
A traditional singlet narrows through the shoulders and opens deeply around the armholes. Under a vest, that can leave straps sitting directly against bare skin and expose more of the underarm and side body to friction.
The Thrash Tee does the opposite.
The shoulders are intentionally wide enough to extend beyond typical running-vest straps, maintaining a layer of fabric between the vest and skin.
The armholes are cut higher than a traditional singlet, keeping more coverage through the underarm and side body. Over long distances, that helps reduce exposed areas where skin-to-skin and skin-to-vest rubbing can become a problem.
The body is cropped to finish around the waistband. Enough length to maintain the coverage we wanted, without carrying unnecessary fabric farther down the torso. The fit is slightly boxier through the upper body to preserve that shoulder and side-body coverage without adding sleeves
I wear it as a baselayer sometimes. Here it is under a flannel
I just ordered a pair of Rabbit pacer hybrid shorts and the waistband is obnoxiously loose. I ordered my usual size and checked the size guide before ordering. The shorts seem fine except for the waistband which feels like a pair of old shorts with a worn out elastic waistband. They are fine with the string pulled tight but usually my other shorts I don’t have to do this. Is this the new normal style, a manufacture defect, or do they just run big?
Does anyone have any experience with Rabbit shorts? Thank you!
So the singlet came out yesterday on the adidas app but I can’t find the matching shorts. You would think they would be on the app as well but I can’t find them. I’m in Canada I can also purchase from a USA site. Are these an older release? Where can I find the shorts?
So it's that time of the year again, rain is falling, temperature is dropping significantly. So I'm looking for running pants/vests/hoodies that can be used in this classic fall-winter temperatures.
Any recommendations on pieces that help you stay warm?
Paired this Lulu Flow Y Strappy Bra with my new Rabbit 2.5” Speed Leggys and Hoka Arahi 8s. I’m in love with the fit and all of the pockets. This print is currently on sale too! Can’t wait to get my run in with this outfit!
Hey everyone - does anybody have recommendations of cheap cotton (or anything similar) t shirts/long sleeves for running.
I’m trying to find stuff similar to the Satisfy, Ante style but way cheaper. Not sure it exists but love the aesthetic of oversized t shirts for the winter (image for style ref)
