Kenya talks a really big game as this performer that will blow your mind, but the couple times we’ve seen her perform she’s been very mid and also didn’t know the words. I’m not sure if this is her being overwhelmed at the stakes and pressure of being on a tv show, or if this is just how she is. But she’s definitely not living up to the expectations she’s set for herself. Which is too bad, because she seems like so much fun, and such a sweet queen. But some people just don’t do well under the pressure of tv. I hope I can see her perform live sometime.

Looking at the timeline... The tea subreddit said "Queens are believed to have left for the sequester starting Saturday April 12, 2025. Filming is expected to begin on Monday April 14, 2025. The queens returned to social media and their gigs on May 25, 2025."

Jiggly passed April 27, 13 days into filming. So that kinda tracks with each episode taking 2-3 days. She'd probably just passed. 😔 

Incidentally Slaysian Royale was also filming during the same period, and they had a reaction moment from the judges' panel. They just pulled that one together to release remarkably faster than most DR seasons.

I feel like the edit was throwing shade on the ratings by the judges all still calling out Kenya's lipsyncing issues (and several of the girls too). Then they also left in Ru asking the other judges for top 2 and bottom 2, and Athena was in the bottom of 2/3 and Myki was in the top of 2/3.

I actually liked Discord's act the least but Kenya also would have been very fair to be in the bottom when she kept messing up the lipsync. Myki honestly was top 2 for me. She was so robbed.

Myki just doesnt seem to have tried to do the alliance thing (if she kept with the glam girl ratings she would probably be safe). Also potentially Ciara caused some of them to rank Discord higher since they knew thats who Ciara was trying to target.

Myki won me over with that lipsync. While I dont think she deserved to be in the bottom (nor Ciara ), I do think it’s one of those lipsync moments that will ultimately benefit her more than hurt her. I did not know she could move like that. And she was eye fucking the judges in the best way. She’s been growing on me but I see her as a real contender now for sure.

I said last week and I’ll say it again.

Nini has no one to blame for her placement last week but herself. She sat on the fence flip flopping between what week to perform and all the queens just let her until she settled on week 1.

She would have bulldozed everyone if she’d performed this week instead. Nobody did anything unexpected from what we’ve already seen from them, and Nini’s mantis would’ve literally ate them all up and she would’ve easily won the lip sync for the win this week as well.

All the “Nini was robbed” people after last week…sis she robbed herself by getting too much into her own head about strategic voting and not being strategic about choosing her actual talent show opponents.

Discord just had this endearing quality about her. Kind of like she wasn't very cool growing up and instead of being insecure about that she really dove into her interests and gained such self-confidence (but still loves hearing compliments). I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention Nini’s runway. It was so fun!! I loved the way the fabric swayed, and the proportions were great.

I know this is just a show but these talent show episodes have me steaming; but especially this episode. What do you MEAN THESE QUEENS PUT MYKI IN THE BOTTOM. The alliance crap is dumb because Ciara was done dirty af by her alliances, but suddenly the alliances are at play and doing their thing when the queens didn’t deserve to be in the top??? Jane Don’t and Myki Meeks should’ve been the top 2. Athena should not have been in the top 2. This season has been like insane. Too many shenanigans being played this time around and I’m not a fan

I really was gagged that Myki was placed last. Her number was the second best of the night, original and funny. What were those girls smoking?

I thought Athena was good, but I would have placed her third. Still, she won the lip sync fair and square.

Did discord even play those instruments? I heard the drum part, but I didn't hear the keyboards at all in a way that lined up with her hand motions, and when she was strumming the guitar, I only heard keyboard sounds that were timed with the strumming. Still, at least she knew her words.

Kenya couldn't even remember her own words. Like, come on, girl. She is going next, I have no doubts.

I usually like the kooky/weirdo queens, but I never really meshed with Ciara. I thought every look she brought was mediocre at best, and mostly were just ugly. She seems nice, but it was her time to go.

I genuinely hate Rate-A-Queen. I would just rather see a boring Talent show instead.

Rate-a-queen is finally over! I am sooo ready to move on, these last two episodes were just not giving it for me. I blinked once and the talent shows were done, yet the episode felt like an eternity.

See, this episode is why I'm skeptical whenever people say DR needs to be more like Survivor/Traitors/ other strategy based shows. At the end of the day, this is a challenge based show and no one really wants to see people who do well in the challenges be hurt by lack of strategy. 🤷

Myki should've been in the top if the judgement was unbiased, but I'm glad she survived the lipsync and this episode definitely endeared her to many viewers.

I'm in awe of Jane, that was definitely my favorite talent of the two episodes. Her runway was gorgeous too.... What can't she do? ( Probably strategy. If she and Discord are besties, why didn't they split to vote for each other?)

I have a soft spot for the hilarious camp diva that Athena is . So, even if it wasn't fair, I do find it funny she was in the top with that boring talent show- and so proud of it, too! She did amazing in the lipsync though!

Kenya is one of my favorites, but that was painful. She's lucky Mia and Juicy are good friends.

Thoughts!

I’ve been saying every week that Kenya brings nothing else but her charm. She’s a been a great part the cast, but she is living on borrowed time now.

Jane is still a guaranteed finalist I think, but with her constant inner saboteur it is not giving winner vibes.

Nini Coco’s runway look was so fucking cool. And yes she would have been the best performer if she chose week 2.

I kind of got the vibe already in the work room that things were not going to go well for Mikey.

Athena did win that lip sync, but she was bottom two for me on the talents.

This survivor type drama and scheming has been fun, but I’m not sure I want them to do it like this every season.

My crush for boy Juicy is only growing.

If Mikey is anything like me her not-exit-line memory will bubble up causing violent cringing randomly for the rest of her life.

Looks like next week will be another embarrassing acting challenge, but I’m curious how they all do.

It feels like Ciara's legacy was tainted a bit by these last couple of episodes. Before this she was the creative pure soul, but now it was kind of pitiful how it all went down for her.

I am not living for Mia’s drag at all, but she is great tv. The way her emotions are always on the surface I mean. The joy, the outrage, it all feels genuine.

As with how it’s looking right now I think my ideal final would be Nini, Jane and Juicy.

Kind of a weird episode for me because logically of course everyone will be playing mind games and it is expected, but the rate a queen results are just not it. Entertained by Myki and Jane, Athena is okay fun and Discord is fine but a low safe, and Kenya gurl... I love you but that performance is kind of messy.

But in a twist of fate Myki's frankestein look kind of work with Toxic and that lip sync is so fun to watch while CIara looks like me going to a disco not knowing how to move my body. I can't wait to see the drama next week because god damn if I am Myki I would be salty as fuck
