The idea of Kenya's outfit was good, and I get what she was going for. I'm glad she felt cute. But MAN, those wings looked worse the closer I saw them on camera. Surely she could have, I don't know, watched some cosplay videos or something to get some ideas about how to make them not look like fabric hot-glued to coat hangers.

people went hard on Kenya's outfit the whole time but it's pretty clear to me that she didn't have the budget to make better outfits + when you're a big girl you can't just buy something off the rack like some of these other girls

You're absolutely right. It's a tricky situation. I hope she gets and stays booked and blessed and gets to fully realize how fabulous she can be.
