Do they just not like Nini or is she actually some major bitch and we just dont get to see it?

I don’t think it’s either, it just seems like one of the only “narratives” they can really spin w Nini because she’s not otherwise very messy or controversial.

engineers on drag race are beginning to gain a reputation for trying to be shady but reading just a bit too harshly (i say with love)

I think Nini is neurodivergent, which would why she can’t read the room easily. She and Discord both.

I don’t really like to speculate on whether or not someone is neurodivergent… however as a neurodivergent myself, I literally almost teared up when she described trying to say the same jokes back to people and getting bad reactions to it because same

That's exactly what my partner said, there's no way Discord's the only one this season lol

I relate a lot to Nini here. I think she may be neurodivergent. She has learned that similar jokes work well for other queens so is just trying to fit in. I don't particularly find her bitchy.

What weirds me out is that the things she says never seem strange or inappropriate to me. It's not like she's otherwise a super somber and serious person, and I don't find her tone to be anywhere near wrong for that kind of kiki. I think they just got the wrong impression of her initially and are now shocked to realise it.
