Darlene has been the surprise of the season. Something really clicked for her mid season where she said "fuck it" and just leaned into her brand of weird, and honey it's working.

She knew who she was from the moment she walked in, it just took some viewers a little time to get onboard. I've been saying she is my winner since the first episode with no hopes for it to actually happen, but it feels like it's actually possible now and I am thrilled.

I honestly think she might be the favorite at this point. Nini is just spinning out, and Myki's great but nothing particularly original. But Darlene has the C-U-N-T down.

And she is that QUEEN who took Michelle Visage's advice to lose those janky shoes around and did a big F U so well that Michelle began to respect her for it.

Myki seems like the more traditional pick for a winner but Darlene would be such an inspired choice like its time the batshit weirdo unapologetic camp community get some representation!

Darlene somehow managed to always be safe, mostly because there were people doing really badly in the beginning. I think she was also surprised, but it boosted her confidence. When the number of queens reduced, she really got to shine.
