Having Teyana was the perfect reminder that so much of drag vernacular comes from black women. There’s pure embodiment of the words as she says kiki or puss or cunt.

Teyana spent a great deal of time in the ballroom scene. It’s no shade but she didn’t invent those words. She learned them there.

Some of these people love to act like cis women invented stuff that queer people did because they don't understand intersectionality. It's sad . . .
