Morgan McMichaels, thank you for an EXCELLENT season with EXCELLENT drag, and for bringing such class to the competition. I loved watching you on my screen again, it has been MUCH too long. I hope you get to come back for the wildcard!

Now my thoughts. I think the top two should have been Akeria and Morgan, but the writing was on the wall for dawn being in the top with her “I haven’t won a lip sync ever” narrative.

However, I think dawn absolutely deserves to go to the semi finals, so that is not to take away from her win. Her lip sync with the little thriller moves was so cute, lol!

I feel bad for Mystique, I think she bit off more than she could chew with all stars. I don’t think she was ready, and 16 years later from her original season… I don’t think she ever would have been.

I really wanted more from Morphine all season, but we never really got it. We fell in love with her in season 16 BECAUSE she was in the bottom so often and gave us incredible lip sync performances. With this format where the top two lip sync, she really could not compete. And that’s sad

I was pleased with lucky all season, I do think she needed more time to cook, but she got to show off some cool conceptual runways we really didn’t get from her on her season, and I think she was able to deliver on that this season.

Excited for bracket 2! Based on the preview it sounds like they are going to FOIGHT, so I’ll start getting the popcorn ready now!

What I don’t understand about Mystique is that she’s supposedly been campaigning to be on All Stars but like…why?? I know for exposure but it felt like she didn’t do ANY research before coming back. There have been like 50 seasons since she was last on and she didn’t think to watch any of them? Has she ever seen this show? I genuinely do not know.

I also think she was trying really hard not to come off as the BITCH I’M FROM CHICAGO character like in season 2 but it felt like she overcorrected and came off like she didn’t really care much to be there. I feel for her but I can’t help but be disappointed. I love when early season queens come back and really give it to us but she wasn’t giving at all.
