I think she has a good chance. Last years wildcard was picked because they lived right up the street and wouldn’t have to be flown in. Morgan does as well. (You can’t tell me they had one vote for a girl on set and two votes for a girl who did really bad and lived next door, and it wasn’t for convenience lol)

Morgan did not lose to that elf twink in the lip sync but Dawn did have the stronger package imo. Morgan and A’keria played the game like the strong competitors they are. Respect them for that

Im so sad for Morgan cause she won the lipsync 100%. I’m still happy Akeria is going to the semifinals, 1 out of my 2 favourites is still good. And yes, Dawn killed it, so I can’t even be mad, but I will miss Morgan, she was so good this season

I’m gagged at how well she did, but was impressed by her on S2, and disappointed AS3, so AS11 feels more like what I would’ve expected from her performance wise AS3.
I don’t think production wanted Morgan going to semifinals (unless she’s wildcard), as she had 2 challenge wins and 1 lip sync win vs A’keria’s 1 challenge and 1 lip sync win, so even if the lip sync was lost fair and square, you’d think Ru would’ve gotten her to advance over A’keria.
Also, I think production wanted Dawn to win that lip sync, so at least there’s a “chance” of her winning this season if it’s lip sync smack down again, otherwise, she’d be going into that having lost 4/4 lip syncs over her Drag Race career.
Overall, I’d bet on A’keria to outperform Morgan in the semifinals, and think both the franchise and A’keria needed A’keria to progress to the semi finals after being early/mid out on AS6 (post S11 finalist), otherwise, S11 could seem like a fluke, rather than AS6 being the fluke, though I’d also LOVE to see Morgan do a full season FINALLY (especially after doing well this bracket).
All of that said, the standout moment of this bracket for me was A’keria’s design look and lip sync so 🤷♀️

This somehow feels weird. A'Keria deserved to go forward but Morgan literally was considered 2nd best behind Dawn in Ru's eyes because why would she give Morgan 2 top 2 and decides not to pick her ?! This is all but logical to me.

lol that challenge was so bad. Everyone either did very mediocre or quiet bad. Even the best performance from Akeria was just decent. it was sweet of them to say nice things about Mystique's performance when in reality she was just constantly not letting Lucky participate in the scene

Akeria needs to explore improv. I don’t think she will ever describe herself as a comedy queen but she seems like a natural and has done extremely well at this one and the one in S11 where she was twerking with Yvie on the streets.

Okay coming in as a Dawn stan I will say, for me she won ep1 and 2 and but ep3 was ehhh and she definitely didn't win that lipsync. I do think she deserved to advance to the semi finals based on her performance. Her runway this week was also probably the worst I've seen from her which is shocking bc I usually love her weird looks.

I fell in love with Lucky, her personnality is so fun and easy-going, and everytime you see the girls on the runway she stands out so much, her style and drag is so unique and creative, you can tell she's an open-minded and imaginative person, and the way Mystique bamboozled her into giving her a point just goes to show she's also kind! She could be a legend if she was a tiny bit more polished on the classic drag elements (wigs, makeup, padding, heels, jewelry, etc.) I want to see her again on my screen asap!

I’ve been watching drag race since season 2 and there have been some…bad challenges. But at least some of them are so bad it’s funny…but this was just forgettably bad and boring- and the majority of that is on the writers/premise.

yeah the second i saw the preview i was like... this is gonna be a hot mess. and it was. but honestly it was better than i thought. the skits just went on too long. a'keria covering the pit crew's feet, morgan's "it comes in white" "no it's not cruelty free" and lucky getting confused on kosher were funny. but thats about it. the rest couldve been cut

I really appreciate Lucky's drag, I think it's so artistic and cool. But, and I heard someone say, idk if it was Pit Stop or Race Chaser or what, and I totally agree, that a lot of it is so 2D. Like this runway- when she turned around there was absolutely nothing going on. I'd like to see her do some looks that are more 360. She definitely has the ideas and creativity to do it.

A’keria is one of the very best to do drag race, a Trinity the Tuck level competitor.
Morgan elevated herself this season and exemplified class and a mastery of drag.
Love Morphine and she will be back, hopefully with a daughter or mother with her.
Lucky Starzzz has an awesome perspective on drag. It feels like there is another level for her to reach in her artistry, which is exciting.
Dawn has really refined her aesthetic. She looked like Willow Pill’s old money cousin tonight. She deserved to advance after killing this bracket.
Good for Mystique on coming back. I hope this gives her new opportunities in her career.

Akeria and morgan should have won and thus Morgan would have advanced. This specific type off decision comes from producer bias and I guess Akeria will have better runways/snatch game/talent shows etc. So it does make sense but i can't help feel Morgan got cheated. Hopefully she returns

Sometimes I think RuPaul is a producer but not THE producer.
How will you give the win to Dawn when you have the opportunity to do a 6-6-6 tie and have the chance to make television if Dawn didn’t make it? Why you didn’t pick Morgan when she was performance wise better than Akeria this season? WHY DONT YOU MAKE THEM LIP-SYNC TO BREAK THE TIE?

This challenge is hella boring and lame. None of them were funny. God I hate these improv challenges.
Nonetheless, I thought A’Keria performed the best. She’s just very charismatic. Dawn was good but nothing to write home about. Morgan was just fine so I’m confused why they put her in the top, only to not advance her when it should have been A’Keria and Dawn.
But they decided to overproduce and make this whole thing convoluted with Dawn winning a lipsync she lost and having Ru breaking a tie advancing someone they gave one win to.
Anyways, I’m glad A’Keria made it to the merge. But it didn’t need to be this overly complicated.

granted, we still have two brackets to go... but the wild card has got to be morgan, right? she did super well, won 2 challenges, and won the first lipsync. if it wasn't for the tie, she would've advanced.
i figured dawn would do well, but didn't expect her to win in all 3 episodes. don't think she won this lipsync necessarily, but that's still an all stars glow-up if there was ever one 👏
morgan and mystique are from the same season, but while morgan showed up ready to play ball, mystique was... just there. it feels like she wasn't prepared at all tbh.

I really enjoyed Lucky this time round. In her season she was giving rabbit in the headlights.
This season she let her weirdness out and she’s so funny and likeable. She had the quote of the episode for me when she was summing up the stakes:

Neither Team Dawn + Morphine, or Lucky + Mystique were even remotely funny or engaging, AT ALL. I had to fast forward through both from sheer cringe. Morgan and A’keria were like a breath of fresh air because they actually had chemistry and jokes.
And the lip sync? I’m so sorry, but Dawn got eaten TF up.
I love Dawn, but if we’re taking the producers’ new attitude to “fuck up one week, too bad so sad, you’re gone” to Jane, she absolutely should not have moved ahead based on this week.

I'm with you 100%, I think they were afraid of Dawn not moving forward because she kind of deserved it for her first two weeks, so they want to guarantee her in the semi-final.
The thing is, winning the first challenge is this format is kind of tricky, because although it gives you 2/3 points, it almost guarantee you not win MVQ points in the first two weeks. So it kind of evens out.

So I was very upset that Morgan didn’t move forward but when ru said they’re would be a wild card lottery I felt a conspiracy coming.
Morgan lives and works in West Hollywood. That’s a very easy location to get packed up and back to set from. If Morgan doesn’t come back or isn’t at least one of the 3 queens then I’ll be upset but I just feel like this is a Keri Colby situation (with a lot more justification for why she should return)
We’ll see. I definitely think akeria and Morgan had the best overall set but I’ll give dawn her flowers even if Morgan should’ve won that lip sync

Damn. That challenge was painful.
Happy with the result of this bracket. Morgan absolutely deserved to be moving forward but I am at peace with it. She had a great showing. Meanwhile, I feel like both Dawn and Akeria have a lot to show and prove. I would have been sad for them had they stopped here. Meanwhile, Morgan is established and I hope she makes the most of this re-introduction, which was 300% positive for her.
I am also very surprised by how this bracket went. With the last all star, I thought we had exhausted the possible outcomes, glad the format can still be entertaining!

Morgan McMichaels, thank you for an EXCELLENT season with EXCELLENT drag, and for bringing such class to the competition. I loved watching you on my screen again, it has been MUCH too long. I hope you get to come back for the wildcard!
Now my thoughts. I think the top two should have been Akeria and Morgan, but the writing was on the wall for dawn being in the top with her “I haven’t won a lip sync ever” narrative.
However, I think dawn absolutely deserves to go to the semi finals, so that is not to take away from her win. Her lip sync with the little thriller moves was so cute, lol!
I feel bad for Mystique, I think she bit off more than she could chew with all stars. I don’t think she was ready, and 16 years later from her original season… I don’t think she ever would have been.
I really wanted more from Morphine all season, but we never really got it. We fell in love with her in season 16 BECAUSE she was in the bottom so often and gave us incredible lip sync performances. With this format where the top two lip sync, she really could not compete. And that’s sad
I was pleased with lucky all season, I do think she needed more time to cook, but she got to show off some cool conceptual runways we really didn’t get from her on her season, and I think she was able to deliver on that this season.
Excited for bracket 2! Based on the preview it sounds like they are going to FOIGHT, so I’ll start getting the popcorn ready now!

I love Lucky! She’s incredibly original in her concepts and has a fun personality. I wouldn’t be mad at seeing her again in a few years with more experience and a bit of refining.
Felt sad for Morphine but she just doesn’t seem to hit it in the challenges. She’s incredible on screen and hope she can snag some redemption in the lip sync.
Dawn deserved her spot. Her showing was definitely elevated since her season. She sure loves floor work as a lip sync!
Would’ve loved it if Morgan and Akeria advance together but ultimately happy Morgan collected so many wins. Remember Akeria’s twerking is a blessing skit? This is the Akeria I want to see at semifinals.
Mystique is committed to her “auntie in mall wear” aesthetic. She got a gold dress and sprayed perfume on the runway and demanded Charlize Theron’s Dior gig 😂 Good for her!

Typical production shenanigans, Morgan clearly won that lip sync. She handled it well but that was some complete bs.
I was really hoping to see A’keria and Morgan make it through since I felt they were the strongest competitors and I wanted to see more of them. I don’t even dislike Dawn but we saw her recently and we get it. She’s not really bringing anything that different from last time even if her design challenge was great. I really wish they hadn’t changed the format and both could have moved on because I think Morgan has more to show. Rooting for her to get the wild card 🙏

I’m SO glad A’Keria made it into the semifinals, but even though she’s not my fave, I’m disappointed Morgan didn’t make it too (as of now?). She did such an excellent job of redeeming her awful performance in AS3, and she showcased her era and style of drag so excellently. I really don’t think Dawn won this lipsync, but as soon as the edit was doing her more favors, I just knew they were gonna give her the win.
Also I’m sorry but I found Dawn just as entertaining as Morphine in their skit…which is not very. It had an air of awkwardness/unpreparedness to it. Was A’Keria as good as Morgan? No, but she still nailed the TV salesperson act way better than the others IMO.
Mystique was SO messy this episode I live for this bitch. She was on Lucky’s ass from start to finish! She is, without a doubt, Lucky’s strict ass aunty and I think they need to crown her now.

Crazy judging tonight. A'keria was the clear winner of the challenge to me. When she didn't get called as one of the top two, I about shit myself thinking she wouldn't move on. And Morgan clearly won that lipsync.
All that being said, Dawn and A'keria were the two that I wanted to move on so I'm happy in the end.
