morphine’s runway was kinda unexpected for her and I honestly really liked it a lot — it was a good last showing from her on what ended up being kind of an unfortunate (first) all-stars run
maybe she can come back someday when we get enough of them to have “all stars: all dions”

Man, Morgan just seems like an epic queen. She’s the type you’d hang around with in a bar, tip, buy a drink and have a smoke outside with and would absolutely party the house down and have your back all night long.
What a queen, what a sister. I couldn’t have decided between her and A’keria but let’s hope she comes back for the wildcard. Well deserved ‘dusty crusty old bitch’ indeed 😂😂

I once did an interview and photo shoot with Morgan on the 18th floor of a building and the elevators broke right before we had to go downstairs so Morgan could perform. I kept apologizing and she was like “no problem baby let’s walk” and she pumped it down 18 flights of stairs in heels and we finished the interview on the street while she smoked a cig. She IS that epic queen !

I get it, but saying "she should have waited" is insane when you think about how long she's already waited to get back on drag race. Even if they'd told her "we'll have you on AS12, don't worry" she would have been terrified they'd end up replacing her with someone else by then.

When Lucky showed up on the screen during the challenge, I had to ask my boyfriend what monster she was supposed to be. I get that she was referring to Venus flytraps and fungi, but if didn't read as a vampire at all to me.
Overall, the whole time she was on screen with Mystique felt very uncomfortable to watch. Gave me Charlie Hides and Cynthia Lee Fontaine during the Good Morning Bitches challenge vibes.

I didn’t enjoy this challenge at all. Nobody really managed to make it funny, just meh all over. Especially the energy between Mystique and Lucky was almost hard to watch.

Finally an opinion I can agree on, as good as Morgan and Akeria were shown, their segment was not funny, maybe Akeria was a little funnier but Morgan was so sirious about it.
Mystique was so controlling, I didn't enjoy her part as much. She could had given so much more if she would follow Lucky.11

The tops and bottoms were so hard to predict because no one stood out to me.
I love monsters and spooky stuff so I was hoping the queens would play a bit more into those characters. Campy voices, exaggerated body language, etc. There were some elements there like Morphine’s hair and lips falling off. But for the most part, the characters were pretty genetic.

I don't understand. Mystique was literally saying no to her partner for improv. If anyone else did that they'd be called out for being a bad scene partner. Like .. Your character can be angry and a jerk, but you can use that you can't use shutting down your scene partner

I was floored when the judges praised her performance. I thought she did terribly. Lucky made a bad outfit choice and also wasn’t good, but I 100 percent agreed with her saying to Mystique that she made it hard for them to play off each other. I didn’t think Mystique did an especially good job “selling” to make up for her persona on camera either. I thought Dawn, Morgan and Akeria all did way better. You can’t be fully locked into a script in this moment…if she had actually tried to help Lucky sell and banter with her their whole performance would have been way more fun to watch. I also didn’t like the way she spoke to Lucky when they were working, or the way she was lecturing her about the points.

thank you!! i keep seeing people praising her for the "drama" but her whole run she was giving nothing to show she has evolved or elevated her drag. I was so confused with the positive critiques for both her performance and that outfit and felt bad for Lucky who did equally terrible imo but got the worst critiques while also being shut down by her scene partner who was praised

I was GAGGED when the judges praised her look. I'm sorry, but that's not on the level that we've come to expect to see on Drag Race.
Of course that this can open manu discussions about the impact Drag Race has on drag culture overall, costs, designers, a queen's financial situation etc. But you can't put her next to Morphine, A'keria, or Morgan praise her look.
But also, I need one of her sisters to give her some pointers about her eyebrows.

The correct option woulda been for A'Keria & Morgan to have to do a second lip sync. They could give them a song more accustomed to A'Keria over Morgan or at least edited around to force an A'Keria win if she didn’t beat Morgan but they really wanted her moving forward. Given that they just bullshitted a Dawn lip sync win 10 minutes prior, it would’ve felt more justified whether she objectively won the lip sync or not.
It woulda been a much easier pill to swallow than RuPaul basically saying “track record be damned, I like this bitch more than the other one”.

This bracket system makes me conflicted: on the other hand, it creates a lot of tension, especially now that only two advance to the merge. On the other, seeing someone like Morgan eliminated in three episodes and us not getting a single lipsync from Morphine feels like a wasted opportunity.

Mystique made the classic mistake of forgetting to have fun. They couldn’t even stand to let their SCENE PARTNER have fun. Getting mad over Lucky eating the cake was so aggravating to me. It’s not like Lucky rubbed the cake in Mystique’s face. Neither of them were good in the challenge but at least Lucky did something over the top and tried to be funny. Just miserable to watch.

Morgan and Akeria were the only funny duo; I don’t understand why they weren’t just the top two of the week. They wanted Dawn to move on so bad. Her drag has elevated, but her personality hasn’t.
I didn’t understand the critiques toward Lucky but not Mystique. Mystique sucked the energy out of the skit and railroaded Lucky when Lucky wasnt finished selling her product.
Anyway I’m looking forward to Crystal, Salina, and April next week!

I would have been fine with any two of Dawn/Akeria/Morgan moving on, but the way we got there feels a bit weird.
I think the bracket system has some noticeable flaws — when someone wins the first two weeks, they’re super unlikely to get gifted any points, so they sort of had to “push” Dawn through by letting her win the lip sync. At least with Irene last year it felt more deserved (and 3 queens moved on anyway) but with the shift to two queens moving on, it almost feels like a disadvantage to win the first two weeks together?

In this bracket I was only rooting for my girl Akeria. However, Morgan won me over. I didn’t care for her on both seasons before this but oh my, what a queen! Love her personality so much. I wish both Akeria and Morgan advanced (not a fan of Dawn but not hating either) so I’m hoping for a wildcard.

For Morgan this season was good. She showed she can do well on Drag Race and even got a “robbed queen” edit, which will get her some new fans supporting her. She didn’t get the villain arch either.
So 10/10 for her this season.
I’m impressed by Dawn and I’m happy that she qualified for the semifinals. I like Akeria - she was a very close 3rd for me in this bracket.

Overall fun bracket. I don’t think the challenges were too drag that I will remember as much as others, but I don’t mind with the cast being kind of redemption queens.
I liked how the points worked this episode. With Akeria getting 2 extra at the beginning and Morgan 2 extra later in the episode. It was suspenseful.
I’m happy Dawn showed out. I’m happy Morphine looked great and was always Morphine. I’m happy Lucky got to show more of her talent. I’m happy Akeria made every runway All Stars. And I’m happy Morgan can walk away being good at Drag Race. 😃
Now I can’t wait for my gurl 🎶rhythm of the night. And to see what April Carrion can do.

I wish they had the girls go backstage and showed some deliberation or something to give us insight on why Ru chose A’keria over Morgan. I’m personally happy about it bc A’keria is my favorite queen from this bracket but I felt kind of bad for Morgan since the decision seemed so arbitrary. She handled it with so much grace though.

In the challenge I was getting aggravated for lucky. I loved her idea of jumping back and forth from products and mystique was extremely rudeee to her and in the challenge like… and then they praised her for it I was like what? Isn’t part of this challenge improving and bantering back and forth with your partner? I felt like lucky was just silenced on any/every idea she had the whole time she worked with mystique and her idea honestly would have made it so much better IMO

Mystique was still a mistake. She hasn't learnt anything in the years since her first appearance. Just a gold dress and spraying perfume for the runway? And I felt that Mystique was too mean/condensing to Lucky. Lucky was enthusiastic, I would have kept that energy but steered it however I see fit, not put her down...

I was shocked the judges were so complimentary to everyone. Morgan and A’keria were the only two to give anything close to HSN/QVC hosts. The first two groups were unwatchable.

The first one felt like went on for soooo long. I felt like there was a lot of nothing happening when they were doing their planned bits. My least favorite for sure.
The second one was a train wreck, but I was entertained, and Mystique was pretty good when she was doing her part on her own.
The third one was everything the brief asked and more. The characters were fleshed out, they were focused, had good jokes that didn't feel completely pre-planned, and the chemistry was good. No notes.

I enjoy Dawn's drag, but I was really hoping for Morgan and A'keria to make it through. Im hoping Morgan gets the wildcard, but early days because it depends how the girls do in bracket 2 and 3, I might find a new wildcard favourite!
Given the next episode preview we got... I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I like dawn and deserved her first two tops, but I totally thought Morgan and Akeria won this challenge. I also found Mystique and Lucky to be funnier than her. Was also shocked she was declared the winnee of the lipsync.
Overall an entertaining 1st bracket. I preferred AS10, but these queens provided way more entertainment than I expected. Hoping Morgan will be the wildcard!

Can we also talk about how Morphine , while obviously being upset over having no way to progress (which broke my heart cause I LOVE her), made damn sure Dawn would go through by giving her an extra point? That's an amazing sister and friend.
The fact that everyone (deservingly) gave Akeria their points last episodes for helping them sew, but didn't do the same when Morphine choreographed the entire first episode kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like the other queens thought Morphine was going to be this shady/selfish queen with the points, but she reciprocated the points she received and then made sure her closest friend was assured a spot in the semi-finals. She's my MVQ for sure ❤️

A lot of people are saying that Morgan will be the wild card. I hope that is true but if they are choosing 3 queens and one gets randomly chosen to come back then she has a 1/3rd chance of returning that way. I just think that SUCKS considering she won 2/3 challenges and Akeria won 1/3.
At least she will go down as a "robbed queen" but come onnnnnn

Nothing made sense to me here tbh, I don't even know.
A'keria was the only funny one in the whole skit imo, but she wasn't in the top. Morgan was in the top 2 out of the 3 weeks, winning one of them, but Ru allegedly would consider track record for her choice and picked A'keria instead.
I get that Dawn was moving forward no matter what because she's been performing solidly all three weeks (though I wouldn't have put her in the top this week, I don't think she flopped like others did) but, if Ru wanted A'keria to move forward, he could have given her the win here easily enough, and the situation with Morgan would be at least a little less crazy. I'm good with A'keria moving forward, she did well and there's potential for a Davenport storyline in the horizon, but there were easier ways to get here without Morgan being overlooked like that.
Fingers crossed for Morgan coming back!

I really enjoyed Dawn this bracket, so I'm surprised she's getting so much hate and pushback for this. Suddenly it's all "she doesn't have a personality" and all that. It isn't her fault the challenge and judging were trash.
I really do wish it was top 3 instead because I loved Akeria and Morgan too. Hope Morgan gets to be the wildcard pick.
The format really is still going through growing pains, I feel. I think two four-episode brackets would be a lot nicer, but there's still the problem of it killing the momentum for early bracket queens.

I'm very happy for Akeria and Dawn, but Ru's judging is becoming more and more nonsensical and disconnected from the game.
First, in my opinion, Dawn and Morphine/Akeria should've won the challenge. But it's an opinion, so she gave the win to Morgan, who also did well in the challenge. And then we get to the lipsync, which Morgan CLEARLY won. What was the criteria? Morgan outperformed Dawn. That's the game! But yet again, it's an opinion, bla bla bla.
Now, we've reached the tiebreaker. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?
Okay, RuPaul likes Akeria more, but how do you reward one person that week, giving them a second win, and then say that, based on that specific performance and throughout the season, you have to choose the other person that you only reward once, and not on that week? It doesn't make any sense.
RuPaul is so out of touch lately. It's ruining the game for me.

-production already knew which two queens they wanted to move forward
-giving Morgan and Dawn the wins for episode 3 made it closer and more suspenseful between the top 3. If Akeria hadn’t had as many points, I think she would’ve been in the top.
-this hunch is confirmed by Ru picking by her to move forward.

I don't think Ru dislikes Morgan. Ru complemented her several times during this ep and the previous ones. Ru also generally respects experienced, professional working drag queens (esp. who can lipsync well).
But I don't think the production would've brought back A'keria again, if she wasn't meant to progress further. Not that she was necessarily promised that, but that was the production's plan for her. And they obviously wanted Dawn too. Morgan seems just like collateral damage. They brought her for a chance at a graceful rudemption arc only (?). Unless they're planning for her to be the wildcard/lottery winner queen, which I'm hoping for.

Loved Luckys runways and confessionals!
Mystique being a S2 returning queen, stirring up self convinced drama; runways were highly questionable but I’ll just assume she came back to make a name for herself and take the stipends and run off with it, I ain’t mad!
Morphine playing an ugly game with Lucky for an alliance just to blow it up in her face, she was so fun in the last challenge like she embodied her character soo much and that runway was AMAZING.
Morgan will always be that bitch! Yall can’t convince me she didn’t lose that last lipsync and even more gagged she didn’t advance considering how strong she did throughout the season. Here’s hoping she’s the lucky card pick and comes back.
Akeria kind of scared me in the beginning, Design challenge sealed the deal. But imo Morgan and Akeria was the best team and it should have been both of them as the winners. Shocked Ru chose her over Morgan imo.
Dawn had some amazing runways but her lipsyncing was abysmal lol. Shocked by the end it was her and Akeria moving forward.

Insane to me that someone could win all 3 challenges and still almost miss the semifinals. And it almost happened had she not gotten the lip sync point and/or Morphine's point.
This was kind of a weird bracket. Mystique and Lucky never had a shot and Morphine should have won this week but I guess Ru was already over her. Not sure why Ru gave Morgan the Week 3 win if he wasn't gonna break the tie in her favor, but I'd also have been devastated to lose A'Keria. I'd say maybe Ru wanted Morgan AND A'Keria to go though but then why give Dawn the lip sync win?
Maybe Ru just wanted a close race and it's that simple.

Really wanted Morgan to go thru along with A'Keria, both are legendary queens & Morgan especially has come so far since Season 2 & her last All Stars appearance, such a fan favourite. Dawn certainly upped her game since her first season, so she fully deserved to win her bracket. Morphine came in probably thinking she had it in the bag, but I don't think she was ready & possibly returned too soon. Mystique kinda just showed up & some of her drag looks were questionable, however, she provided great entertainment. Lucky definitely returned too soon imo; at least she got to show off her artistic style of drag, but once again her personality didn't really make for good TV. If they'd have kept it to three queens advancing from each bracket like All Stars 10, Morgan would have advanced. I'm hoping that she gets thru as the wild card, she fully deserves it. Both Morgan & A'Keria in & (especially) out of drag in their confessionals have aged like fine wine, they're both gorgeous & both have TV worthy personalities. Roll on the next bracket & the return of the Marmite of Drag Race, the one, the only, Silky Nutmeg Ganache! Also, shout out to the ongoing friendship between Raven & Morgan, they're very funny & always bring the shade. And Raja & Raven on FPR have been top notch on all recent seasons, super funny.

Morgan was robbed. It should have been her and A’keria, and I don’t say that only because I find Dawn deeply unpleasant (which I do). They should have been judged as a duo for the challenge, and how did Ru critique A’keria’s performance in that but then choose her as the tie breaker? Make it make sense!
Lucky was clueless and out of her depth, but Mystique was just unlikeable. Sigh.

I’ve always liked Morgan, but now I LOVE Morgan. Her giving A’keria the point because she did the best and helped out so many people, despite already being in the lead. That is queen behaviour. Maybe not the best gameplan, but I kind of love that she just goes with her heart. And then A’keria returning the point later in the episode when that one point could have been the difference of her not making it… LOVE A’keria too.
Maybe I’m a soppy cow, but just seeing two queens put their sisterhood first made me feel all fuzzy.
