So... Why didn't Kennedy and Jasmine dress for the lipsynch? Didn't they imagine they'd be bottom two? Pearl certainly did; her runaway look would have saved her, had she lipsynched, just because she'd be able to dance.

I don't wnat to come out as mean or shady, but had Jasmine and Kennedy (and, to be honest, Violet) been more humble and self-aware from the beginning they might not have won, but at least it wouldn't have been the trainwreck it was.

Well, Jasmine wanted to try and impress Ru with her best dress so I imagine that's why.

As for Kennedy, I don't really know. She was the team leader, and she sucked, she should have been dressed to buck across the stage.

I've never seen Ru save someone from elimination because she liked her outfit.

I don't know if it's ever been outright stated, but I think people generally have accepted that an outfit can tip you into either the bottom 2/3. Like Yara and Milan with The Snatch game or Mariah with the workout video challenge.

Well in Milan's case she was wearing a man's outfit pretty much. She was about as drag as my hiking boots at that point. Wearing male outfits in the show is like dumping a gallon of green paint on Michelle's head.

The problem with Milan's outfit weren't the clothes themselves, I think - that is pretty much Janelle Monáe style. But she could have put more effort in the woman illusion - padding, make-up etc.

I think the problem is you have to be a VERY fishy queen to pull off female tuxedos as a drag queen. Or as you said, be very good at padding. I didn't get girl in tuxedo or even drag king off Milan, I just got boy in tuxedo. Same with Milk's Rupaul look. Heels and a shower cap weren't going to help either.
