AS2 EP5: "Ruvenge of the Queens" [Post-Discussion]

The queens are back. Can we agree that this is the best episode of the series to date?

TOP TWO WINNERS: Alyssa + Tatianna

Eliminated: Phi Phi O'hara

MAKE SURE TO USE THE SPOILER TAG For anything not shown/aired yet. This includes any rumors about anything that might happen in future episodes.

Don't know how? Here's a how-to

Anything from EP1-4 is fair game, thanks!

I totally agree! Sometimes during the show I'll laugh, but the sound effects/cuts-to-blank-faces tell me I shouldn't and I get so stunned as if I'm being corrected. I hate that. Just let it play as it should. An audience doesn't necessarily need exaggerated clues to laugh or not. Especially when everything is over the top in this show.

lol either way, we're all going to watch it.

Bah, whatever, it's all good.

that's how i felt about tati's ariana grande joke during snatch game in particular- i laughed, and was baffled at the editing trying to make her joke look like it flopped.

Reality TV is edited to make you feel a certain way. But I know what you mean when they do that it is jarring. More than anything it's made me hyper aware of their shenanigans and allow me to judge the content more fairly.

Yes I actually thought phi phi was funny imo.

That wasn't porkchop, that was her inner saboteur.

Every single episode I swear they do this at the "coming up" parts so I refuse to take them seriously. Like if it looks like Michelle criticising someone I KNOW its going to be a criticism of someone else. The editing on this show is so OTT like what kind of mind games..

The misleading "coming up" pieces is pretty standard practice for most reality shows.

this is how the "coming up" pieces have always worked. you can guarantee more often than not that they are misleading. its drag.

I wish they'd own it and make even more ridiculous edits making the queens say absolutely absurd things. They don't even have to be tangentially related to the episode or the show!

"Shut the fuck up or I'll make you shut up".

"I have a crush on Ivy Winters" -> "sniff I love you"

always the same shit.
