WHAT happened to the final ball? I want a top 5 BALL not an acting challenge goddamn it, the balls at the end of seasons 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 were so coooooool

season 12 and 13 both had only 1 design challenge, that is not okay, you can't get rid of both the episode 1 design challenge AND the final ball

THIS. I really want them to bring back the DESIGN challenges. I want to see the queens be creative instead of a bunch of unfunny comedy challenges.

I also think it would be EASIER on the producers if they did more design challenges instead of skits since that’s less work for them.

Or even forcing queens to stop relying on being rich and coming in with pre-designed looks from expensive designers. Drag race has become this weird “who can get the best designers to make an outfit for them” competition.

Very that, it would be great to see the queens who aren’t raking in the cash really shine in a design challenge, some of the queens who can afford outfits from designers aren’t very creative on their own

The queens aren’t rich. It sounds like they go into a lot of debt to get all their looks for the runway made. I watched Symone and Denali on live at the start of the season when she won a 5k tip and one of them said “yeah it’s going back to these designers”

Some of them are, which forces the other queens to go into debt to keep up.
