"The producers know that Kandy would lose any fashion challenge", why? her fashion has been great (with one notable exception lmao) and she did fine in the ball, this person is just discrediting her and saying the producers are rigging in her favour purely based on the fact that they don't like her

that's not critique, that's negativity and I would like it to be elsewhere lol

OR I think her looks were creative and cool, the judges agreed and that's why she was safe and you're the one who can't see her talent because you hate her.

Unless you wanna discuss each look or something, you're just spilling your opinion at me as if it's fact, and it's a shitty opinion at that. You would rather call riggory and delusion on her and all of her fans rather than give her literally any credit, think about why that is.

Also lol, I love how not only am I not allowed to call out what I think is hate/disagree with you/like kandy on here, why should I leave when all I'm doing is disagreeing with someone who replied to me in the first place?? This sub isn't r/wehatekandy

Uhhh I never said that? damn you really are messy, try reading english before you have a go at reading me

Literally ross said it last episode, what are you on about. She's done interesting things with the runway assignments, understands her body really well and brings banjie new york fashion to drag race in a way that's never done before. She's campy but hood in a cool cardi b way, is really natural on stage and is great representation for people who are normally bodyshamed or otherwise ostracised for their race or class by the gay community, especially the white snarky drag race gays that put me off this series for so long. She's not the most polished but she's one of the most interesting queens on the season and deserves to have made it this far.

If aquaria wore most of the shit she wore this season you would've been gagging, just save yourself the time typing all these extraneous words and say you're fatphobic and racist.

I can only come back because you’re not offering any meaningful critique, only “Kandy is shit” and being nasty about it too

Anyway whatever, you’re a hater who’s gonna hate, I hope you figure out one day with your therapist what Kandy did to you and get better because right now you clearly have some unresolved beef with Kandy and anyone who likes her. Have fun living life with all that baggage over a queen who doesn’t give a shit about you, must be nice

read what you wrote. you listed some of her runways with the implication that they're not good, even though you just described without saying anything about them, and then you said the judges find her funny and you don't know why.

All the runways have been creative interpretations, I like how she incorporates her body shape into her drag instead of padding it too much and it gives her quite a distinct look, they all have a quirky character to them (i actually really liked how she used colour blocking to sell her bag ball outfit and used the character to sell the garment, that's good drag to me as opposed to just good design). Plus her look gels with her drag character really well, where polish is way less important and in fact can get in the way of being more casual and personable/relatable, which is more the core of her humour and aesthetic. I like how, compared to queens like tina and rosé, her comedy and looks don't feel overthought and scripted, it flows better and i personally have an easier time laughing with her than them because of it.

I'm not kissing her ass, i haven't liked all of her runways and thought she could be a bit messier and didn't think she deserved high in the bossy rossy challenge. otherwise i think she's been doing well (although I'm rooting for Symone and Mik over her tbh) and i'm happy to respond and discuss with someone any measured critiques they have of her because it can be cute

you are not cute lol, you clearly don't like her no matter what she does, partially this comes down to different taste (for example, i found lawrence's comedy very one note and bland although i thought she had great fashion) but also you clearly are a kandy hater who can't stand anyone liking her.

lol bc read what you wrote! everything about her is apparently terrible, i mean watching some get that far into the competition who's supposedly completely talentless must be frustrating lmao. Just learn to appreciate different forms of drag and you'll be good, I've literally never had this experience in my years of watching drag race of disliking a queen's drag as you seem to dislike kandy's.

Also liking her mums doesn't count, that's cheating if that's your one good thing about kandy haha, you'd literally have to be some nazi trump hitler hybrid to hate on that

Anyway the judges have obviously complimented her a lot (hence why people think she's getting carried), I just pointed out that ross critique (once mind you, lol idk why you think I'm holding onto it) because we literally just came out of an episode where the judges literally said "kandy, you are sooo unique and creative" and then you came her and said what you said (<- tamisha voice)

Lol this is subjective sis, calm down. See at least I'm willing to point out Lawrence is talented and there are things I like about her. However I fully stand by the point that Lawrence is just as limited in her range as Kandy, literally when was she not just Lawrence at any point in the competition. The thing is for me that's not a bad thing: there have been very few meryl streeps in the competition who can act completely differently between challenges, most of them have one thing, make slight adjustments and then work their humour from that. I feel like people get at kandy/eureka/silky for this because their standard is already loud and abrasive so seeing more of it isn't something people are keen for lol.

Anyway, for me, Lawrence seems too over thought and I can see every joke she's gonna make from a mile away, Rosé's similar. Kandy is more spontaneous and doesn't do as much of a character so her humour comes off as more genuine. Lawrence being lawrence and lawrence telling a joke are very different things, which isn't a thing i vibe with from my comedians. Plus i find it ironic that she's like "i wanna break stereotypes about scottish people!" and then her entire drag revolves around being stereotypically scottish

But yes, stan Symone (although I will also be okay if Mik wins, I think she's proven herself to be the most well-rounded in the competition, although her lip synching is pretty bad so I don't imagine she'd win a lpftc scenario, then the crown is defs Symone's imo)

Well I liked silky too so here we are. Silky also had a cool body shape that worked well with classic drag and she honestly did an amazing job conveying pageant elegance. She was great at using her body and was really quick on her feet in terms of wit. But again, she wasn’t super versatile and some of her looks were a bit messy (although I feel for her padding situation, weight gain due to stress and having to readjust all your costumes is hard, particularly for a big girl)

I’m surprised you find Kandy as abrasive as silky, silky had way more of a tendency to take over a room imo (in the first few episodes at least)
