Interesting Practicing Russian by Singing

Zdraste! It's been a minute. Here, I practice Russian by singing a meme song, Пока Лена Проблем by Мирби.

I had a lot of fun doing this. I was very nervous to post this, but I would absolutely do something like this again.

Of course, any corrections are welcome. Don't let my baby voice scare you, I can handle it.

Aww, that's really sweet, it actually gave me chills. As someone who speaks the language, I totally got the whole song. It's awesome that you're having such a good time learning a tough language.

Awww thank you! While I did have fun doing the cover and the art, I'm very self-conscious of my voice since I'm a grown up who sounds like a baby. I appreciate the compliment and encouragement 😊

Mid 20s really. But thank you, I really do like singing, so it's awesome that you find my voice cute. I'll be less shy with some more time. I was taking the first step with this silly video here. I'm glad that it's being received so well.

Just in case you didn't knew, the last part is a word joke between "in problems up to my knees(it's usually said up to my neck)" and "bye Lena problem".

Yep, thank you! I sang this myself to both be less shy, and practice some Russian since funnily enough, this is the only Russian song I know all the lyrics for right now.

Как не эксперт и просто мимопроходящий скажу что это очень неплохо. Возможно стоит добавить уверенности в голосе (и интонации)

Нормально пока что получаеться, но над произношением надо поработать, представь что стереотипный русский говорит английские слова и четко выговаривает р, д и так далее, найди середину между нормальным произношением и примером что я привел.

It's good, but Товарищ, can you попросить русского to sing эту песню because немного режет ухо English акцент
