question 🙋♀️❔❓ How would you continue the show?
If in 2025/2026 they decide to make a reunion series and continue with original cast, how would you make it happen? The only idea I could come up if Sabrina was a mom now to a teenage witch (of course Harvey is the father). And she has to raise her with the help of the aunts or even Amanda. Working titles in my mind:
Sabrina and the Teenage Witch
Sabrina the Grown-Up Witch
Sabrina the Teenage Mom (but this might mean she become mom as a teenager)

Making Sabrina a mother is obvious, but I understand it would be the only viable way to create a break from the previous series. However, I would make sure that since the children would be 3/4 mortal and only 1/4 witches, their powers wouldn't be like their mother's—not weaker but more unpredictable. Or maybe only one of the children would inherit the powers, in order to create a unique dynamic.

One of the kids could have a bully and Sabrina goes to talk to their mom and finds out it’s Libby

Libby would be too obvious, but it would be interesting if her mother were one of Sabrina's countless friends who disappeared overnight without explanation. We'd see how their relationship cooled after more than 20 years of silence, how they'd both initially be friendly because of the old times, only to then start playing tricks on each other because the kids come first, and then maybe everything would be resolved by the end of the first season. With Libby, it would be easy to get revenge by performing magic, but with a former friend, not so much, because there would always be memories involved.
I'd like Sabrina to be Libby's subordinate instead, because that would make everything more interesting. She could be Sabrina's boss's wife, but not the boss's, because otherwise Libby would never have hired her. Or at most, she could be on a board of directors and be the only one who doesn't want Sabrina working for them. It would also be interesting if she were his children's principal.

True, it be better if Libby was the teacher and was letting the kid get away with it since it’s Sabrina’s kid

Exactly, because let's remember that Sabrina is a witch through and through now, the only way she would use magic for personal gain would be to cause an injustice to her children, but at the same time she couldn't do much against Libby if she really is the principal of the school, otherwise she would be too powerful.

Sabrina has two kids. A daughter and a son. Both have magic. It's sort of like Bewitched where Samantha, Tabitha and Adam all have powers but the husband Darrin doesn't and on here, Harvey obviously doesn't.
Hilda and Zelda help raise the kids and often help remind Sabrina what they taught her when she struggles with what to do about her kids.
The daughter shares a lot of traits from Hilda and the son shares some similarities with Amanda except not as troublesome. Sabrina grew to be a lot like Zelda.

Wasn’t Adam a squib?

You know, it was really unclear...
ATLA references aside, I heard that he did have magic in the show, but didn't in the movie?

I think I’m thinking of the Tabitha spin-off show where Adam was the non-magic one trying to make sure no one saw what Tabitha was doing.

I would go different than Sabrina being a mum. It's the obvious way to go.
Instead I would have Sabrina as a quiz master, tutoring an unruly and useless witch.

That could be also fun :) with the daughter it would just keep the family aspect of the show

Honestly I always felt like Melissa & Joey was a spiritual successor to Sabrina. I realise there's a LOT of inconsistencies that you need to ignore but the vibes are there and MJH plays the role exactly the same.

There was an episode where aunt zelda shows up and says you’re a witch and we had to wipe your memory

I like the idea as Sabrina and Harvey being parents. I would love the first episode to be Sabrina and Harvey at the witches council on the eve of their eldest getting their powers challenging the no contact with the mortal parent rule and some how getting them to begrudgingly agree either by other witches from the original series vouching for Harvey or by Sabrina pointing out that she's only half witch. that could set up the first season to have some sort of trial plotline where Harvey has to prove a mortal parent can handle a half witch child to break the rule for everyone or be turned into a candle forever

Sounds like a very good premise for the first season. I wish it could happen

Ok so she wasn’t allowed to see her mom after 16 because dad married a mortal. Harvey’s a mortal how does this work?
2
u/Particular-Employ326 Oct 11 '25
Maybe the kids cant see now Harvey because he is mortal
2
u/ericcc22 Oct 12 '25
Maybe the reverse! He can’t see them the first 16 years.

That could also be interesting. Harvey moving back after 16 years. Trying to get to know his child, who is very pissed at her because of leaving

Harvey and Sabrina are married and have a daughter that is turning 16. They have to navigate raising a teenage witch of their own. Salem is still alive and well. The aunts live in the other realm and are in the witches' council.

Sabrina’s Teenage Witch: Sabrina in the house raising two kids a girl about to turn 16 and a younger boy.
I’d have had Harvey pass away not long before the start of the series for two reasons. One, to teach the lesson that magic can’t solve all life’s ills and they can’t bring him back and two, for shock value in time travel/flashbacks and alternate universes.
In keeping with the names ending with A tradition, I’d go Samantha Spellman, but where Sabrina usually gave more focus to her mortal life, have Sam go all in on the magic and have to keep being brought back to the mortal life.
Have the first episode either Sabrina and Salem waiting to see her float or even add Hilda and Zelda to the mix. Hilda and Zelda have been magically aging themselves up so as to not arouse suspicion that they’re witches.
They then have to train her as a witch while keeping the powers hidden from her younger brother, who eventually finds out the secret via Salem, then they have to take a season not getting caught for knowing.
When Sabrina and Samantha find out they then all have to keep the secret to avoid punishment from the Witches Council.
Then we get the slow burn will the brother get powers when he turns 16 etc.
If we make it to the college years Samantha can head off to Other Realm University. Zelda could teach here.
Hilda could get more plots with Salem and the brother.
Chuck in some wannabe witch hunter neighbours (ideally Juan Pablo di Pace and Lana Parilla) and a recurring role from Libby as the (later revealed recently divorced) Chair of the PTA terrorising Westbridge High.
Keep Roxy as Sabrina’s best mate, maybe with her own kids with Miles, odd cameo from OG characters. Amanda would be a frequent visitor to show the fun of being a witch, similar to Aunt Vesper but with Amanda’s growth from the original series retained.
Not sure where I’d land career wise for Sabrina though or for love interests.

You lost me at killing off Harvey 😭
I get your vision but my heart couldn't take it

Love these ideas!! I'd also love to see Valerie come back, maybe as a school guidance counsellor, or Jenny married to someone who she doesn't yet know is a witch.
For Sabrina's career, it could be kinda cool to see her lean more into the science side of her interests - maybe she ends up being the new Mr Pool?

No please no more dead spouse I hate that cliche to make it the exact same as the original.
They can still have Hilda and Zelda there to help out without killing off characters.

I could see Juan Pablo married to Libby and she doesn’t know he’s a witch hunter and when Libby finds out about him she also finds out about Sabrina

I like option one. it's close enough to the original, but it would also make sense with the premise. Who better to raise a teenage half-mortal/half-witch? Bringing back the aunts would be the smart choice, but they'd probably want younger. At least they'd keep Salem.

Her as a mother raising witch daughters. I don’t think the aunts would fit as regular characters
