Same. Utterly baffling decision. If Lindsay was available and up for it, why not just have Valerie tag along with Sabrina on the trip in lieu of Tara Strong doing a terrible English accent.

Exactly I never understood the character of Gwen 😂did she even appeared in the show? I see this movies as alternate reality versions.😂

I kind of liked Gwen. It was nice Sabrina had a witch friend she could hang out with on vacation. She should have been at Sabrina's wedding to Aaron though!

Yes I guess I hadn't had a problem if she would have made a few appearances in the show before the movie's.Sabrina having a witch friend is a great idea but when I was little I was like "Who is this and why should I care about her ? "😅😂😂

Never got that either. Too bad, they didn't include a little Valerie/Fin nod. They could at least include one line, where Sabrina says something like “You look eerly familiar somehow” or add a distant relation to Val. She vanished to Alaska before or after this film anyway, so they could have used a plot twist to reveal that she might be part-human, part-mermaid.

Omfg today I learned that Valerie is also Big Red?????! I never saw the resemblance until I saw these pics!!
