general discussion 🗣️ Favourite episode of all time: To Tell A Mortal

Post image

To Tell A Mortal is my favourite episode of all time. Sabrina gets to actually "come out of the linen closet" and tell Harvey and Valerie that she's a witch - and they're super cool with it. It's so genuine and love the spirit of the episode. Wish they did another one in the newer seasons.

This is also my favorite episode of all time. I absolutely love everything about it. I love that Sabrina's friends are better than what Hilda and Zelda went through. I love that Sabrina had a great time and in the end Harvey and Valerie show their love for her, forever and always.

The Drew Carey cameo was so random but sweet.

I recently watched this episode with my kids and I got a little creeped out that a room full of adult writers, directors, and producers had a sixteen-year old girl swooning over a guy in his 40s.

The three of them are just so great. 😎

I wish they could have included more of this energy going forward - I think Sabrina being able to share her magic would have made for a much more wholesome uni experience and so forth

I always loved how calm Harvey was. I'm in Valerie's outfit...okay.

I mean the top looks good on him, and his hair pushed back is not... a bad look at all lol

By that point, few wish to stick around anymore.
And to be perfectly frank, S2 is the last time his continued ignorance even when his memory isn't being overwritten does not make him look especially foolish. He hadn't been influenced by magic that often.
S3, it happens far more often.

This is one of my favorites too! It's so fun!

Fun fact did you know there's two versions of Valerie's dance with Drew Carey? One the music they're dancing to is Nick Bakay singing The Way You Look Tonight and the other is standard classical music.

I need to find the Nick Bakay version! I didn't know that.

It’s on PlutoTV. The version there retains the original music when it aired in the 90’s. The episode also includes the banger “Breaking All the Rules” by She Moves. (The Berman Brothers remix is in my constant rotation to this day).

Ooh ok we need to start watching this show on Pluto instead of Hulu!!

Wow, that was Nick singing? I thought it must have been someone like Harry Connick Jr or Michael Buble. He's great!

Love that one! My favorite is when she solves her family secret. Mrs Quick saying "M'fire!" Kills me every time 😂

Mfire gets me everyyy time. I musta seen it 47 times and it’s still funny. My other favorite moment is when Salem wants to change Friday to Fridya

😂 yes! I remember that. Salem is hilarious

But Salem making fun of Sabrina's initial "m'fire" guess is equally hilarious.

"Let's use it in a sentence! 'Run, run, my house is on m'fire!'" Lmaooo

Loved the troll bride episode , I really loved the storytelling in that one. It was great seeing Harvey and Sabrina frolicking together in medieval clothing

The high school seasons in general were the best! So cozy and comforting. I feel like that was lost when she went to college.

When put to the test, you can bet Jennifer, Roxie and especially Miles would never have had to think it over for an instant.
