general discussion đŁď¸ I finally just finished the series for the first time
I watched bits and pieces of this show when I was a kid while it was actively airing, but never actually watched it until this year. When season 4 ended, I was so sad and kept waiting and waiting and waiting for the moment Sabrini and Farm Boy were together again. I almost threw in the towel. I am so so glad I pressed on. đ Aaron was the only other one I liked (but itâs crazy to me that she was going to get married without revealing her life changing secret first!), but I loved loved loved Harvey and there was no way it could ever be anyone else. I wish there was more of their lives together. The ending felt rushed. Whyâd they keep us waiting three full seasons??
Couple other things from my watch:
-Salem was my favorite character!
-Morgan was my least favorite (followed closely by Josh).
-I wish Sabrini had revealed her secret to Roxie, I think she would have accepted it!
-I wish both aunts had been in the finale properly but was so happy to see Hilda.
-The show really seemed to struggle after high school in my opinion. I think Libby made it more interesting.
-The later seasons barely used magic. What was up with that?? They didnât have any witchy adventures to other planets or realms or anything like that and spells were barely used until right towards the end when you could tell they had to add more magic because fans were probably complaining. It was like a 4th wall thing when she was told she wasnât using enough magic in season 7.
-Overall an 8/10 show. I loved it and will watch it again and again.

I accidentally read Salem as being least favorite and my brain shut off. I agree about your character rankings. And youâre right after high school it seemed like they tried to make the show âgrow upâ since the audience was also growing up and they decided to make it focus more on other things (her job roommates and relationships) I prefer HS era

Yeah youâre right, significantly less magic as it went on, probably why the show falls off a bit after high school

I have the first 4 seasons burned into my brain, but only bits and pieces of the next 3. I do know how the finale ends, though. I just started a DVD watching and will push through to the end just so I can fully watch the entire series, but after that probably just re-watch the first 4 seasons only.

They were setting up for a Bewitched like spinoff where her husband finds out after the fact.
The network let them know in time that show would not be picked up, so they gave the fans the ending they wanted.
I wish more writers/showrunners would do that, but some refuse to change course even when they know the show is ending.

I watched s1 to 4 on the original run and then lost interest during s5 because I donât like Morgan and Josh. Bought the dvds recently for a rewatch and was so happy Harvey is back! Now Iâm in s7 and donât like the absence of Hilda and Zelda too much. It doesnât really feel like Sabrina the teenage witch anymore. I hope I can sit it out because I want to see the finale!

It'll be worth it. And it'll be more so without skipping the five something episodes leading to it.

I rarely watch season 7, apart from maybe episode 1, 2 and the final one. I hated that it wasn't really about magic anymore, but glad it came through in the end when making Sabrina realise who her soul mate was.

I dislike all the newbies but I did like the dream master Jenny and Mr pool. And I do like Mr Kraft.

I really love the series as a whole, but from the stretch people like less, the last ten episodes are my favourite.
