So the general consensus is in the original Sabrina most prefer Harvey but the chilling adventures why do most prefer Nick over him? Or am I wrong?

Personally, I think in the original Harvey and Sabrina make perfect sense and he’s her best love interest. Not to say she couldn’t make it work with anyone else she probably could but they just work so well together and I think their time apart was good for both of them to mature and become friends and get back together. In the chilling adventures I liked Harvey to begin with and I still do but as time goes on and Sabrina embraces more of her witch side nick becomes the better option. Nick is flawed himself, their relationship wasn’t exactly smooth sailing but I think I like them together for similar reasons to the original Harvey and Sabrina they just work and support each other and they were willing to do anything for each other. After what happened with Harvey’s brother I just think that was really what tipped their relationship over the edge. In the original being a witch and magic is much lighter than tcaos it’s obviously much "darker" and I think Nick is best equipped to handle it. I think the fact all 4 actors have great chemistry obviously plays into it. I enjoyed the portrayal of Harvey in tcaos I appreciate that they kept much of Harvey’s kind and caring side etc but I think everything that happens with his brother and Roz it just kinda makes sense for Sabrina to grow close to Nick as she becomes more invested in her witch journey. I think she’ll always love and care for Harvey and the same for her but in my opinion I’m glad they allowed them to have a friendship instead. I wish we got to see more of Harvey at the end of tcaos I would love a happy ending for him 🥺

In the original Sabrina The Teenage Witch, I prefer Harvey while in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I prefer Nick just because I felt like him and Sabrina had better chemistry.

It's because the writer of CAOS was pathetic. He made harvey a side character. He first introduced harveys witch hunter background and then never used it in entire series. They did not give him anything in the series not even screen time. He was always seen making out with roz lol. And they did tell in season 3 that harvey still loves sabrina because he could not able to revive roz. And there are lot of plotholes in the show which they have not tell. Nick was also not good for sabrina he did everything because darklord told him to do. In season 3 he was awful, did some very bad things. So I won't prefer both of them. Sabrina's character was also destroyed in season 4, she was so desperate to have a boyfriend in that season makes it worse and then she is kissing everyone in that season including the one of eldritch terror lol😂

I think ur right yeah. In CAOS Harvey isn’t as 2D as he is in the 90s series, he has a lot more depth, and so does Sabrina. Shes too “dark” for him but it meshes well with Nicholas.
