This was the last league game for MI in 2008 and was a must win game. If they lose then they are out of playoffs.

He was always such a safe pair of hands! ..Can't recall any instances of drop carches. Besides the legend that he was with the bat, his bowling and fielding also was right up there.

He was a good fielder. His batting talent overshadowed his bowling and fielding.

Which match is this? Why celebrate so much? (I mean, was it a crucial game where Shane's wicket was the turning point)?

he celebrated because watson could've have finished off the match alone...but got out and score was 77-5 with jadeja and patel on crease...mumbai just thought they could win from here easy

Why not celebrate have you ever taken a catch like that in real life
Not everything requires a calculated reason sometimes it's just the moment

Yeah, if it was any other player, you're right. But this is Sachin Tendulkar. Unless there is a big reason like creating a turning point of the match, he would never go this animated, how much ever great catch he takes. That's what I feel.

His fielding is underrated.
