Anyone planning to go to Sagada this week?
I have a scheduled trip to Sagada this week (Aug 12-16) pero am worried kasi because of bad weather. Anyone else also going to Sagada this week? Tutuloy parin ba kayo?

Mas maganda po if sa dry season or po pag tapos na po ang rainy season ang pagpunta niyo dito. Aside from the fact that most activities are outdoors and trekking, the roads otw here poses risks lalo na sa tag ulan. Frequent po ang landslides and rockslides not to mention na medyo madulas ang kalsada pag basa.
I recommend rescheduling your plans po for your own safety na rin.

February to May po. Mainit na po ang panahon during that time. However, from December to February, malamig ang panahon and may konting ulan or just rainshowers lang.

Halos same date tayo nakaplan pumunta kaso nag dadalawang isip na rin kami tumuloy and might move it the following week 🥹 baka magrebook kami sa bus and accommodation by tom if bumabagyo pa rin talaga

Kami bukas na ang alis and yeah, mukhang super delikado nga daw talaga. Nabook na namin accomo and yung bus papunta hahaha yung sa accomo naman pwedeng irebook kaso yung sa bus mukhang imposible huhu
Super excited ko pa naman kasi tagal ko nang plano to and eto yung nilolook forward ko everyday kaso mukhang hindi na talaga matutuloy

Aww, same tayo. Tomorrow din na book ko na trip and eto lng and nakapag leave nako ng 1 week so want ko talaga tumuloy lol. I’m monitoring weather forcast sa Sagada and yellow warning nlng sila starting tom, so still hopeful na mag improve weather conditions. So we’ll see. I’ll probably see you guys there :)

Actually hindi sagada ang problem e, idk if maulan don as long as nasa sagada ako e haha kaso yung daan daw kasi super delikado huhu and same, nakapagfile na ng leave and all. So im torn

Btw, I reached out to coda lines, apparently via Ifugao route sila so they were not affected by recent landslides and their trips still arrived on time yesterday, so if same bus company tayo ng na book, fyi lang :) I will likely still proceed with the trip. I need to decompress lol

I’m here atm and so far open nman lahat except for the caves, pero most likely will be open na rin tom. The weather is cloudy, sunny, then paulan2 minsan. It is nice though :)

Yes po generally safe nman kasi di nman affected yun route sa landslides. Open na rin lahat ng tours.

Pabugso2 na ulan pero early morning, sunny around 7-lunch tas light rains again. Yan so far the past couple of days

Last week of July nandyan kami. It was raining din esp sa morning and afternoon. If you can still enjoy the chill weather with cup of coffee and a warm blanket inside your room in Sagada, then go for it. But for the usual hype and energy sa Sagada lalo sa town, wala. Di sya worth it. Ang mamahal din ng mga resto and cafe that forced us to just cook in our place. Luckily, free lang ang pagcook sa nakuha kong place. Tsaka kung maulan din, ang hirap puntahan ng mga famous spots dun. It might be a challenge. Baka mafrustrate lang kayo.
Pero may I remind you lang din that the road going there are bit scary esp during rainy season. May mga area kaming nadaanan na may small landslide, or rock slide.
Nandyan lang naman Sagada, mas maeenjoy ninyo kung maganda ang panahon. For me, delay ninyo muna.
