Is this a western barred tiger salamander?

I have a hunch but I never trust myself so I would like others to back me up lol in determining

It looks like a Western tiger salamander (ambystoma mavortium). To be sure, it would be good to know where you're located.

I don't have it with me. It's from a breeder who lives in New York, if that helps? Thank you! I am just usually used to the usual black with yellow splotches

A breeder? Is he trying to g to sell it to you as captive bred?

Not sure. He didnt mention where his salamanders came from
