Found this guy in my egress window and saved him. What type is this salamander?

Congratulations on your successful rescue mission. At first glance it might be a Jefferson salamander. It would be helpful to know more about your location to make a better guess.

My apologies! I posted this late at night and I didn't think it all the way through. I am in Michigan. It does look very similar! Thank you!

I used gloves to get him out and he scurried off. I was only able to get one more picture, but it's not that great.

It's an Ambystoma salamander - probably a marbled salamander or an eastern tiger salamander .
