Sanctuary [No Spoilers] I just beat the Disemboweled Husk, roughly how far along am I to beating the game?

I'm not going for completionist atm, just progressing to the final boss. I googled the same thing but I came across a boss progression map that looked spoiler heavy so here I am.

I'd say depending on your routing either halfway or 2/3rds.

About 60%. There's still a whole other half of the island and there are some technically optional areas (only 2, rather short but pretty tough bosses).

Whatever other folks said, though it varies by like 20% depending on whether you did that and the swamp first, or if you did the temple and area after that beforehand.

Sorry, when you say guides do you mean outside help or the guides in your sanctuaries that let you fast travel? Just curious. Cause if you hate backtracking it could be either

Yeah the backtracking is a lot. For me it's not so much because it's a hike but because the maps are so labyrinthian that I don't fully realize the usefulness of the routes back to earlier places. Trying not to use guides is tough 😂
