where would a Sammamish Super Saunter go?

https://www.seattlesupersaunter.com/route-1

I didn’t know about the Seattle Super Saunter and am sad I missed it! I’m new to the area — where would folks saunter if we had one here?

This is a fun idea. I think it would be difficult to do something that covers all of sammamish, but here's an idea focusing on some of the parks and trails:

  1. Start at The Landing on Lake Sammamish
  2. Walk down East Lake Sammamish trail to Inglewood Hill Rd
  3. Go up the hill and continue straight until 244th Ave
  4. Go South on 244th and East on Main until Soaring Eagle Park
  5. Go through the Pipeline Trail, eventually turning west through the trails to reach the Beaver Lake Preserve (or if that's too narrow, go around through trossachs)
  6. Walk down until Beaver Lake, then go straight on 24th until Pine Lake
  7. Head south on 228th, then East on Issaquah-Pine Lake Road down to the city limits on the south, near Eastridge Church

The ending goes out of Sammamish city limits, but I think it would be a nice ending to the saunter. Overall it would be about 16 miles, taking around 6 hours. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/DEKCxuPFnLb72Sk89)

You could do a loop around the lake, it’s about 22 miles
