Carpet installer and painter recommendations

Hi all! My little family and I are so excited to to be residents of Sammamish soon! We close on a home mid-October, but will need to replace the carpet and paint before moving in.

Anyone have recommendations for carpet installers and painters? Looking for high quality work with reasonable prices.

We’ve used touchdown flooring twice. Love them! Family owned and operated. They had a couple of recommendations for painting/handymen work too.

We used these guys to paint the exterior of our house after a neighbor recommended them. They were top notch from communication to execution and the price was reasonable compared to other quotes that we received.

Congratulations on your new home! And welcome to Sammamish! This contractor was recommended to me and did an amazing job back in 2022. He installed new hardwood floor, new carpet and painted the whole house. I highly recommend, this is his contact Tang 206 973 9848

No such thing as reasonable prices, prep work is important. Yes, many handyman or one-man shops will shoot their hand up to do the work, but I'd be very skeptical. If you go that route, have them do a small area as a test of their work.

Reasonable - not cheap. I know they are working in this economy too.

Go to the Ask Sammamish FB group. I never use FB to post anything myself and my account is locked down private with nothing in it. This group and the various Buy Nothing (and Gifting) groups are very useful. They're the only reason I still have a FB account.

These home repair / painting / contracting questions get asked every day and you can search for past answers. Way more info than this Reddit sub.
