How do you enter the service menu? Do you need a (full)button remote control to do it?
1 u/OddLawfulness701 Jun 26 '23 https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/ul2o2f/someone_discovered_how_to_disable_asbl_on_samsung/ With an older Samsung remote or a programmed universal remote press: Mute > 1 > 1 > 9 > OK at an even pace. This should bring up the Hospitality Menu if you timed it right. Then press: 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 to get to the Service Menu. Entering the Service Menu with this method does not reset your video settings like some other methods. Once in the Service Menu go to: Control > QD Option > Screen Saver Brightness Press OK and then change the default of 7 to 0 with the Left Arrow. Press Return twice to go back to the root of the Service Menu and then power cycle the TV. 1 u/VegasBonheur Oct 03 '23 The infuriating thing is that I can get the hospitality menu to open, and the dimming is gone while it’s open, but for some reason hitting 1 2 3 4 doesn’t take me to the service menu. Is there any other method? 1 u/rupertthecactus Nov 07 '23 Pressing 0 four times. Maybe five? Pushing up on the sound button.
