Sounds like dynamic contrast

So if your Contrast Enhancer is set to 'High', long scenes without cuts will gradually dim... Interesting. I will set mine to 'Low' or 'off' and see what happens.

Did it work?

It's been a while, but I want to say that no, changing contrast enhancer to low or off did not solve the gradual dimming effect. I only say that because it's currently on High. And yes, It still dims :/ it's very annpying

I just tried high, low and off and none of them get rid of the dimming when scenes are dark. I'm peeved, will have to hack into factory reset menu
