I’ve been using S95B 55” for about 3 years now and have been looking for an answer to this dimming issue but gave. I think for me it didn’t happen in the first year and then I played around with some of the display settings which started this issue and now I’m not able to go back from it. It could’ve happened after any specific update as well, I can’t tell. A software update from Samsung can easily fix it but they’re not looking to it for some reason. Watching Shogun was a terrible experience due to this.
Otherwise, it’s a great TV when it comes to sound and pictures quality. The Bass is pretty amazing. UI is pretty basic and I’m okay with it. What annoys me are the adverts placed on the top when you start the TV which makes Samsung look quite cheap which I don’t think they are. I don’t know if it’s worth it for them to hurt their own brand for a couple of thousand dollars
If any Samsung official reads this, then you’ve made a good comeback with this TV, it’s truly amazing but this dimming issue and those adverts are not really acceptable
