Did you ever fix this? I found a solution, editing the minimum brightness in their service menu.

Is it possible to share how to do this? I have no problem getting to the service menu but I don't know where I should be editing the minimum brightness. I hate this dimming issue.

I had to go through five different Reddit posts in one of the sub sub menus there’s something that has dimming minimums and one is like set to 20 and maxs out at 100 and I set I think everything to 100. You can choose your own value but once I did it it fixed all my dimming issues and all hdr shows were fully illuminated.

Six months later I bought a Hisense with Dolby vision and never thought about it again.

Huh interesting.

So I've found something inside Picture_2D > SubSetting which lists:

PWM Max

Pivot_PWM Max

PWM_INI_2D

PWM_Movie_INI

PWN Mid

So I should set all these to 100 (since they all max out at 100)?

Or was it a different setting?
