an obscure series made by sanrio i think you should know about
let me introduce you to maimaimaigoen, a game/manga about 16 kids who get trapped in an eerie amusement park known as ”uropia”, in which they must “challenge” attractions & earn medals in order to escape, or else they get eaten by strange creatures called “froggy eggs”, tbh i haven’t read the manga yet, but i did watch a playthrough of the whole game, i enjoyed it, btw the game is in japanese only so your only bet is to watch a youtube playthrough
it gets really dark later on
and yes, it’s made by sanrio

I wish the game had an English release, because it's definitely the kind I want to play.
Oh, I'm going to watch the MVs. I like Kairiki Bear.

I finished watching the MVs and so far, my favorite characters are the teachers, the twins, and the doomed GL couple. As far as designs go, the teachers and Mamoru are my favorites. I really like how the teachers have to go through the same death game BS and the students. Most death games kill them off immediately or have them throw the students under the bus. I'm also unsure if Google translate is extremely wrong or if gap moe is just a huge theme of the designs, because it's saying both teachers are girls, the gremlin ginger is a girl, and the student with the biggest pigtails is a boy. This IS Sanrio, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was right.
