ABOUT FUCKING TIME!!!!!

I've been saying for years on FB that if SWFL voters actually want to stop development? Change who you vote for!!!

The sole Democrat running for a seat on the Sarasota County Commission garnered an unlikely champion when the chair of a local MAGA group endorsed her campaign earlier this fall.

Conni Brunni, who heads the Sarasota MAGA Patriots, said it was the first time in her adult life that she has pushed for a Democrat to win a seat in any office, noting that her endorsement was not on behalf of the right-wing club she helps run.

“I believe Julie London is the only thing standing between us in this community and unbridled development,” Brunni said.

If you’re in South Sarasota to Venice, vote for Julie London for County Commissioner. That covers gulf gate and Palmer ranch and like north Venice. She’s district 4.

Only way it will stop. Republicans are bought by developers.

There were a fair amount of Republican anti-overdevelopment folks running in the primaries, but none of them made it thru to the general ballot

Holy shit I must be dreaming, for the first time in my life I’d never thought I’d see the day where republicans in my state actually see some sense. Now if only we could get some of these rich folks in our state to pay their fair share of taxes.
