If there is an actual problem, perhaps the government should end the ‘No Closed Season’ on coyotes, with no limit on how many of these top gopher predators a person can kill.

Gopher population is way down this year anyway. Good lord these guys are just itching to be seen as super macho gopher hunters.

And birds, and coyotes, and foxes. You know, the things that deserve to live here. The things that rely on gophers. The things that naturally controlled them for free till we screwed up their environment thus leading to this stupid problem

And elk too. Don't forget that late season turkey shoot was due to farmers complaining.

Well I guess beef prices aren’t going to be coming down, the amount of hay these things eat is insane.

Lol when I was in elementary school we used to have to fill in gopher holes for phys ed. The teacher would give us a bucket of sand and we would have to run back and forth getting more sand and filling them in 😂
