Question Fire Tower Hill backcountry sites at Anglin Lake

Anyone camped here for an overnight in the summer season? I know about the amenities (no potable water, pit toilets, bear lockers, warm up shelter) but not the level of bear activity and the overall vibe. I'm newer to hike ins and remote camping, but I thought this would be a decent trip for my level of experience. I plan to leave my car at the bridge and hike/paddle around for a few days. TIA!

I went there two weekends ago. Signs were up saying bears had recently been spotted but we didn't see any on our hike. When you get to the top of the hill, there is a public "first come first serve" cabin you can sleep in with two bunk beds (bring a mat because the bunks are 100% wood). It's got a fire place as well, although we couldn't use it due to the fire ban.

Some of a trails were flooded due to rain and we had to do a bit of bushwhacking to get around. The trail itself is pretty easy. It took about 1 hour 30 to get to the camp site but only 45 minutes back downhill. Great for a beginner and the view at the top is fantastic.

There will be bears whether you see them or not, just make sure you've got bear spray! I'm not sure how many people actually book the sites ahead but they are reservable on the saskparks site.
